- Keeping peace for the people is not only a task but also an ideal that every officer and soldier of the People's Public Security (CAND) always keeps in mind. To It is indispensable for officers and soldiers to be wholeheartedly devoted to their work and have a solid rear. Understanding that, in recent times, the Provincial Police Department (PPC) has paid special attention to taking care of the lives of officers and soldiers. to foster trust, create motivation for officers and soldiers to work with peace of mind, perform well assigned tasks, and contribute to maintaining a peaceful life.
Due to difficult family circumstances, for many years now, Major Ha Van San (Ba Son Commune Police) and his wife and two young children have had to rent a room in Ky Lua Ward, Lang Son Province. His wife does not have a stable job and has an unstable income, so the cost of living and taking care of the children depends mostly on his salary. Therefore, life is always difficult and lacking.
Understanding that situation, the CAT leaders conducted a field survey and decided to support more than 100 million VND to help Major San's family build a new house. On August 13, the house was officially started on the land plot under his wife's name in Ky Lua ward. This is a meaningful support, helping his family gradually stabilize their living space, reducing the worry of cramped and makeshift living for so long.
Touched by this concern and support, Major Ha Van San expressed: My family is extremely grateful for the concern and support of the Party Committee and the CAT Board of Directors. With the supported funds, my wife and I borrowed more to build a solid level four house and have a stable place to live. This support not only helps my family ease difficulties but also motivates me to work with peace of mind.
Not only Major Ha Van San, the care for life, especially supporting officers and soldiers with difficult housing circumstances has always been a concern of the leaders of the CAT in the past time. Lieutenant Colonel Bui Huy Khanh, Deputy Head of the Personnel Organization Department, CAT said: Implementing the direction of the Party Committee and the Board of Directors of the Provincial Police, the unit has always proactively advised leaders at all levels to deploy many practical activities to improve the lives of officers and soldiers. These include supporting funding for building and repairing houses for officers and soldiers with special housing difficulties; creating favorable conditions for officers and soldiers to buy social housing; arranging official houses for comrades working far from home; arranging collective housing for officers and soldiers' families who do not have stable housing. These are specific and practical tasks, helping officers and soldiers feel secure in their work and successfully complete their assigned tasks.
Accordingly, from 2024 to present, CAT has supported funding to build new houses for 2 officers and soldiers in difficult housing circumstances; supported the repair of 1 gratitude house for relatives of martyrs affected by storm No. 3 (storm Yagi 2024); supported over 80 officers and soldiers to complete procedures to buy social housing at the project "Social housing No. 2"; inaugurated and put into use a barracks house in Khon Khuyen block, Dong Kinh ward, meeting the accommodation and living conditions for 224 officers and soldiers in the professional departments of CAT; supported funding to build a house for 1 comrade who is a former police officer.
It is known that the funding to support the construction and repair of houses for officers and soldiers in difficult circumstances is mobilized from many channels: contributions from officers and soldiers in the Police; support from the Ministry of Public Security; and socialized resources. This is a practical joint effort, demonstrating the spirit of solidarity and mutual love in the entire force.
Ms. Hoang Thu Hoai, whose husband is working at the Logistics Department, CAT, shared: My husband and I are newly married, our economy is not stable enough and we have a small child. I do not have a job, so my family has been given the opportunity to live in the CAT dormitory. This is very practical support, helping my family reduce the economic burden, save on rent, stabilize life, my husband can work with peace of mind, and complete the tasks assigned by his superiors well.
Not only caring and creating favorable conditions for accommodation for officers and soldiers working in the force, in recent times, CAT has also supported funds and working days to help Mr. Hoang Van Dao - a former police officer living in Vu Lang commune to build a new house. Ms. Do Thanh Loan, Chairman of Vu Lang Commune People's Committee, said: The attention and support of the police force at all levels has helped Mr. Dao's family to stabilize their lives and continue working and producing. This is a practical work, demonstrating the spirit of mutual love, comradeship and team spirit towards those who have spent time attached to and devoted to the cause of protecting the security of the Fatherland , while spreading profound human values in the community.
The new houses and collective shelters not only bring material value but also a great source of spiritual encouragement to each officer and soldier. From there, officers and soldiers have more determination to overcome difficulties, stabilize family life, and concentrate on work. This is the support, the solid rear for each officer and soldier to have more confidence and devote themselves to the peace and happiness of the people.
