Established in January 2023, with the motto "Putting the interests of union members and workers at the center," the Trade Union of Song Lam Tay Bac Fertilizer Joint Stock Company has focused on monitoring the implementation of policies and regulations on social insurance, health insurance, unemployment insurance, wages, and bonuses for workers; listening to and understanding the thoughts and aspirations of union members and workers through regular dialogues, surveys, and direct contact, thereby proposing timely solutions to the company's Board of Directors, contributing to building harmonious and stable labor relations.
Mr. Duong Hong Nam, Chairman of the Trade Union of Song Lam Tay Bac Fertilizer Joint Stock Company, said: The Trade Union consists of 3 groups with 103 members. The Trade Union, in coordination with the Company, organizes visits and gift-giving to union members and workers facing difficulties, illness, or misfortune. It also supports workers in accessing preferential loan programs, building and repairing houses, helping workers stabilize their lives and feel secure in their work.
Mr. Ha Van Thanh, Head of the Inorganic Fertilizer Factory's Trade Union, said: "The 38 union members are responsible for producing 45,000 tons of inorganic fertilizer annually. To maintain continuous three-shift production, the team regularly monitors the concerns and difficulties of the workers, promptly reporting them to the Trade Union and the Company's Board of Directors for resolution, helping workers feel secure in their jobs and building a united and cohesive working environment."
At the Organic and Grinding Workshop's Trade Union, protecting the rights, caring for the lives, and monitoring the implementation of policies and regulations for workers is always a priority. Mr. Nguyen Van Long, the Union leader, stated: "The Union regularly coordinates with the Trade Union and the Company's leadership to fully implement all regulations such as salaries, bonuses, social insurance, health insurance, and unemployment insurance for workers; organizes gift-giving during holidays and encourages union members to participate in various activities, creating a vibrant competitive atmosphere and motivating workers to work diligently."
Since its establishment, the Trade Union, in coordination with the Company's Board of Directors, has cared for and protected the legitimate rights and interests of over 100 workers and created stable jobs for them, with an average income of over 7 million VND per person per month. It has implemented practical support policies, such as selling over 200 tons of fertilizer, worth over 1.5 billion VND, at preferential prices with interest-free deferred payment options for 60 worker families. In 2024, it provided over 180 million VND in support to worker families facing misfortune and hardship, and visited sick workers.
On the occasion of the Lunar New Year 2025 (Year of the Snake), the company organized the "Reunion Tet - Loving Spring" program, giving Tet gifts to workers with a total value of over 500 million VND; distributing 45 gift packages (500,000 VND/package) and 45 subsidized shopping vouchers (300,000 VND/voucher) to workers in difficult circumstances.
