New Miss Vietnam 2024 Nguyen Ngoc Kieu Duy has impressive achievements

On the evening of December 28, the final round of Miss Vietnam 2024 ended with the highest title belonging to Nguyen Ngoc Kieu Duy. The beauty from Can Tho became Vietnam's representative to participate in the Miss International 2025 contest.

Before being crowned Miss Vietnam 2024, Nguyen Ngoc Kieu Duy (born in 2003) from Vinh Long was known to the beauty community when she won the title of Miss Tay Do 2023 and the "Beauty of Charity" sub-award within the framework of this contest; 1st runner-up at the Can Tho Elegant Student Contest 2023; Miss FPT Can Tho 2022. Currently, she is in her final year majoring in English Language at FPT University Can Tho.

In addition to her impressive achievements of winning the 3rd prize in the English speaking contest in Vinh Long province twice, Nguyen Ngoc Kieu Duy has a passion for sports. She has achieved a number of achievements such as: Gold medal in Hovilo Games 2022 in Volleyball; Bronze medal in Tai Chi single sword; Silver medal in Vinh Long province's Phu Dong Sports Festival in Volleyball (2020 - 2021); Second prize in Taekwondo open competition...

According to Nguyen Ngoc Kieu Duy, practicing Vovinam and other sports helps her improve her health and self-defense skills. “Learning martial arts helps me become calmer, stronger and have more friends. In addition to improving my health and toning my body, martial arts is also a very effective way to relieve stress,” said the beauty born in 2003.

At the Miss Vietnam 2024 contest, Kieu Duy won over the judges thanks to her fluent English communication skills and confident demeanor in the preliminary round. She was nominated in the Top 5 Body Beauty voted by the judges and Top 10 Talented Beauty; Top 4 Eloquence Beauty; Top 10 Lovely Faces voted by the judges...

During the final night of Miss Vietnam 2024, with the behavioral question for the Top 2 finalists from Miss International 2024 Huynh Thi Thanh Thuy: "If you win the highest position, what is the best thing about Vietnam that you will bring to the Miss International 2025 contest?". Kieu Duy confidently answered in both English and Vietnamese: "Vietnam has many good things that I want to bring to Miss International 2025. I want to introduce the beautiful image of Vietnam to international friends. I understand that young people have to do many things, solve global issues such as education, environment... If I become Miss Vietnam 2024, I will spread the youth to beautify Vietnam".

As a result, in addition to the highest title of Miss Vietnam 2024, Kieu Duy also won the title of Miss Mekong Delta.
