Cerebral palsy boy overcomes adversity, creates jobs for people with disabilities

From a guy no one wanted, Tran Thanh Trung has now become a boss, creating jobs for many disabled people who are in unfortunate circumstances like himself.

Appearing with a wooden crutch, Tran Thanh Trung eagerly sent greetings to Love Station , he tried his best to pronounce the words as clearly as possible. The congenital spastic cerebral palsy not only made his legs unable to balance in each step, his hands were cramped but also made it difficult for Thanh Trung to communicate. For Thanh Trung, the number 17 reminds him of unhappy memories when a series of sad news came, his twin brother - who was Trung's daily companion - passed away due to a serious illness.

His body was different from his friends, so his childhood at school was associated with teasing. Many times, Thanh Trung rebelled and caused a lot of harm to his friends and himself. There were many sorrows, many difficulties and tears, but Trung never gave up studying, because that was the only way this young man could prove his ability.

The number 23 opened up difficult days in Thanh Trung's life with the arduous and difficult job application process. Graduated from Thai Nguyen Pedagogical College with a good degree, but wherever Trung went, he received head shakes and doubts from employers.

After 3 years of applying for jobs with 23 applications and 23 rejections, Trung was not discouraged. To earn a living, Trung did not hesitate to do any seasonal job, from selling insurance, tutoring English to repairing computers... In his spare time, Trung spends time volunteering with the Association of People with Disabilities in Thai Nguyen City.

The year 2016 opened a new page in Tran Thanh Trung's life when his decision became a turning point: going to Hanoi to study more about information technology. When applying for a job, Thanh Trung reassured himself "I will probably fail again" but this time the effort of the cerebral palsy boy was rewarded when the company hired him to work in the computer engineering department.

Given the opportunity, Thanh Trung has tried his best to learn, explore and develop himself. During his work, understanding the difficulties of disabled people when applying for jobs, with his own experience, Thanh Trung always strives to share his experience and provide knowledge to the disabled community.

When establishing his own company, Trung always prioritized training courses and employed disabled people, connecting and creating jobs for disabled people in Hanoi as well as the whole country.

With his tireless efforts to prove himself, tirelessly helping disabled students, etc., that work has brought Thanh Trung much joy and sweet fruits. In 2019, Thanh Trung found his other half and got married to a beautiful girl with a physical disability.
