"According to sources close to the situation, representatives of Europe's three largest economies – Germany, France and the United Kingdom – have discussed the possibility of holding bilateral talks," the report said.
According to the article, such initiatives emerge against the backdrop of a stalled reconciliation strategy by the United States.
President Zelensky's press secretary Dmitry Peskov stressed that the special military operation could end "as early as today" if Zelensky orders the Ukrainian armed forces to withdraw from Russian territory.
Russian President Putin acknowledged that the peace process has stalled due to US intervention in the Middle East conflict. However, the Kremlin stated that this does not mean there is no contact with the US.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said he is ready to begin direct talks with Russian President Vladimir Putin instead of waiting for the US to "resolve all the conflicts in the world ."
According to Zelensky, Iran has become "a top priority issue for the United States," while Ukraine remains "on the list of issues of concern."

America has chosen a side.
Speaking at a hearing before the U.S. House of Representatives, Secretary of State Marco Rubio stated that the United States cannot be considered a fair mediator in the Ukraine conflict because of its military support for Kyiv.
"Frankly, we are not fair mediators in this conflict. We are not supplying weapons to Russia; we are only supplying weapons to Ukraine. We are not imposing sanctions on Ukraine; we are only imposing sanctions on Russia. So, we have clearly chosen sides," Rubio said.
He added that Washington continues to supply weapons to Ukraine through the Ukraine Priority List of Needs (PURL) program despite the US military intervention in the Middle East.
The prospects for a settlement remain unclear.
Rubio also told members of the House Foreign Affairs Committee that the prospects of reaching an agreement now seem bleak.
"Currently, the outlook is not very promising. Neither side is willing to make the necessary concessions to reach an agreement," he said.
At the same time, Rubio emphasized that the United States remains ready to play a mediating role and wants to help end the conflict.
Earlier, Russian President Vladimir Putin stated that Moscow remains ready to continue negotiations on Ukraine and has never refused dialogue.
"There are no negotiations at the moment, although we are ready," Putin said.
Russia notes the US's distancing from this process.
Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Sergei Ryabkov said Moscow has noticed what it describes as a certain detachment of the United States from the process of resolving the conflict in Ukraine.
Ryabkov told Interfax: "We have repeatedly sent signals from our side at a responsible political level to Washington that we perceive the Americans to be somewhat indifferent to this process."
According to Ryabkov, one possible explanation is the White House's focus on developments in the Middle East, although he also suggests other factors may be involved.
He added that future negotiations with the US on Ukraine would depend on the political course chosen by President Donald Trump's administration. Ryabkov noted that new dates for talks with US negotiators could be arranged quickly if Washington expressed interest.
Earlier, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said that talks on the Ukraine conflict remained suspended, although Russia and the US continued to maintain contact on the issue.
