According to initial reports, the fire broke out at approximately 1:15 PM at 168 Lo Duc Street, an area with many business kiosks. Witnesses said they heard several loud explosions, followed by smoke and flames erupting from a single-story house.
Upon discovering the incident, residents shouted for help, assisted in safely evacuating those inside, and used available resources to control the fire while notifying the authorities.

Upon receiving the report, Fire and Rescue Team No. 9 dispatched vehicles and personnel to the scene, organized water spraying to extinguish and control the fire.
At the scene, many kiosks selling a variety of goods were affected, and some of the property inside these kiosks was quickly moved out by the people.

Authorities subsequently blocked traffic from the Tran Khat Chan - Lo Duc intersection to the Yecxanh junction to facilitate firefighting efforts.

The cause of the fire is currently under investigation by authorities. The extent of property damage is also being assessed.
Authorities advise residents to check electrical sources and heat-generating equipment, and to proactively equip themselves with on-site fire extinguishing equipment to minimize risks in densely populated business areas.
