At approximately 6:30 PM on March 9th, a large fire broke out inside the premises of the Tánh Linh District Police Headquarters (Lạc Tánh Town, Tánh Linh District, Bình Thuận Province).
A resident living near where the fire broke out said the flames originated from the unit's illegal motorcycle parking area in the backyard.
The fire broke out fiercely.
The fire was massive, with thick smoke rising dozens of meters into the air. Curious onlookers gathered in large crowds outside the street. Many people even livestreamed the event on social media.
Responding to a reporter from Thanh Niên newspaper, a leader of the Tánh Linh District Police confirmed that the fire occurred inside the unit's headquarters.

The Tánh Linh District Police Station is located right in front of the Tánh Linh District People's Committee headquarters, in Lạc Tánh town, Tánh Linh District, Bình Thuận Province.
Fire trucks from the Fire Prevention and Rescue Police Force of Binh Thuan province (stationed in Duc Linh district, 17 km away) are currently en route to the scene to extinguish the fire.
The cause of the large fire inside the Tánh Linh District Police headquarters is currently unknown.
