In many hamlet-level Party branches in An Giang province, innovating content, promoting democracy, and linking activities with practical realities are becoming effective approaches. As a result, the Party branch's role as the political nucleus is clearly affirmed, creating positive changes in improving people's lives and strengthening trust in the Party at the grassroots level.

Over the years, the living standards of the people in the province have gradually improved, and the number of poor households has decreased. This change is largely due to the comprehensive leadership role of Party organizations, especially grassroots Party branches, in all aspects of social life. Many Party branches have become shining examples in implementing the "Four Good Party Branches" model, actively developing Party members, maintaining internal unity, and continuing to affirm the foundational position of residential area Party branches within the entire political system.

The Hoa Thanh hamlet Party branch, under the Dinh Hoa commune Party committee, has 12 members and holds regular meetings from the 3rd to the 5th of each month, with attendance rates ranging from 85% to 100%. According to the Party branch secretary and head of Hoa Thanh hamlet, Le Van Mot, to improve the quality of meetings, the branch adheres well to the principles of Party organization and activities, especially the working regulations. Due to good preparation of content and the flexible management of the Party committee, the regular meetings of the Hoa Thanh hamlet Party branch are well-organized. Each meeting sees members actively discussing and contributing ideas, leading to high consensus and agreement on task implementation.

The Party Committee and the head of the Party branch have effectively fulfilled their roles and responsibilities in leading, directing, and managing the Party branch; they have been thorough in understanding the situation in the residential area, and promptly reported to the Party Committee of Dinh Hoa commune to provide guidance, resolve difficulties and obstacles in the implementation of political tasks, and address the suggestions of Party members and the people. The hamlet Party branch has paid attention to and effectively carried out the work of identifying and evaluating manifestations of degradation, "self-evolution," and "self-transformation," setting examples, and adhering to regulations on what Party members are not allowed to do; and strictly implemented the annual self-criticism and criticism process according to regulations.

Besides leading and effectively implementing the regular monthly, quarterly, six-monthly, and annual meetings, the Hoa Thanh Hamlet Party Branch maintains a good system of thematic meetings, strengthens inspection and supervision, and promptly corrects shortcomings while proposing solutions to fulfill tasks. During the 2020-2025 term, the Hamlet Party Branch developed and implemented 20 thematic meetings, creating a foundation to promote the successful completion of local socio -economic development tasks. The study and emulation of Ho Chi Minh's ideology, ethics, and style are regularly emphasized by the Party Branch, creating positive changes in the awareness and actions of Party members in performing their duties.

Thanks to its effective implementation of various tasks and its focus on improving the quality of Party branch activities, the Hoa Thanh Hamlet Party Branch achieved the title of "Four Good Party Branch"; it successfully completed its tasks for five consecutive years, including four years of outstanding performance; 100% of Party members successfully completed their tasks, contributing to the improvement of Party building work, especially Party branch activities in the hamlet. The position, prestige, and influence of the Party branch are increasingly enhanced, and the trust of cadres, Party members, and the people in the Party branch is strengthened.

Recognizing that Party branch activities are a crucial step in ensuring unity of awareness and action among Party members in carrying out their duties, the Vinh Thanh hamlet Party branch has implemented numerous measures to improve the quality of its activities, creating significant changes in leadership and guidance in socio-economic development, contributing to building a cleaner, stronger, and more comprehensive Party committee in Vinh Tuy commune. The Vinh Thanh hamlet Party branch has 29 members, including 5 who work away from home. For many consecutive years, the hamlet Party branch has been evaluated and ranked as having excellently fulfilled its duties.

Monthly, the Party branch maintains a regular meeting schedule, adhering to the prescribed timeframe. The Party committee carefully prepares the meeting agenda, closely reflecting the actual situation and the directives from higher levels, creating a basis for Party members to contribute ideas, leverage their intelligence, and engage in democratic discussions. The Party branch integrates Party building work with the implementation of socio-economic development tasks and the construction of new rural areas, creating positive changes in the lives of the people.

During meetings, the Party branch encourages members to boldly express their opinions. “As the Secretary of the Party branch in the hamlet, I uphold the spirit of democracy, openness, and listening to the opinions of Party members. Democracy is implemented when assigning tasks to cadres and Party members, openly discussing and exchanging ideas from the drafting stage to the completion of the Party branch's resolutions,” said Nguyen Hong Thuy, Secretary of the Party branch and Head of Vinh Thanh hamlet. For thematic meetings, the Vinh Thanh hamlet Party branch selects key, prominent issues to discuss solutions. The Party branch pays close attention to the inspection and supervision of the implementation of resolutions, plans, and programs to promptly encourage, guide, and resolve emerging issues, ensuring effective implementation.
