According to the Management Board of the Kien Giang Memorial Temple for Heroes, Martyrs and Meritorious People, since opening its doors to the public for incense burning and sightseeing, the temple has attracted a large number of visitors every day. Specifically, from the 1st to the 3rd day of the Lunar New Year (Year of the Horse 2026), the temple welcomed approximately 8,000 people who came to offer incense, visit, and take commemorative photos.

"Every year we go on spring outings, take photos, and enjoy the warm, peaceful spring atmosphere," Ms. Loan said.

Living in America, during this Tet holiday trip back to their hometown, Mr. Luong Vinh Mau and Mrs. Nguyen Kim Hoa visited and wished their relatives and friends a happy new year, then strolled around Rach Gia, enjoying the warm atmosphere of early spring. For Mrs. Hoa, wearing traditional ao dai and taking photos with her family in her hometown was an immeasurable happiness, a wonderful start to a new year filled with new joys.
