Every time the season arrives, women flock to buy persimmons – a fruit with a distinctive, captivating aroma. Persimmons are usually sold by weight or in sets, packaged in pretty bamboo baskets, sometimes accompanied by a few exotic flowers.
At the beginning of the season, miniature persimmon arrangements were very popular with women. This year, towards the end of the season, when the market has become saturated and individual persimmons have lost their appeal, persimmon branches have unexpectedly become a "craze," transforming into a new and charming hobby. Persimmon branches possess a unique beauty and a fragrant aroma, creating a distinctive focal point for any home. Moreover, persimmon branches last a long time, with the fruit clinging firmly to the branch and remaining intact even when wilted.

Ms. Thu Hien (Cau Giay, Hanoi ) said: " A whole branch with about 20 fruits, when placed in a vase until ripe, will fill the living room and even the kitchen with a wonderful aroma. The whole house smells so good."
"After 5 days, my persimmon branches are ripe and fragrant, filling seven rooms of the house and three kitchens," shared Hiền Hà excitedly on social media. Her post received over 1,700 interactions and hundreds of comments expressing delight and asking where to buy them.
The persimmon branch was shown off on social media; after 5 days of being planted, the fruit, although withered, did not fall off.
Ms. Hoa, the owner of a fresh flower shop, said that persimmon branches are not readily available; it takes her several days to import a batch of a few dozen branches, which only yields 20-30 sets. " They sell out as soon as they arrive, and sometimes many people place deposits even before we have any in stock ," Ms. Hoa said.
The set of persimmon branches was carefully wrapped in plastic by Ms. Hoa before being delivered to the customer.
Accordingly, a set of 2-3 fresh persimmon branches, each about 1 meter long, with a mix of green and ripe fruit and many new leaves, costs 170,000 VND. Including delivery, the buyer will have to pay approximately 200,000 VND.
Ms. Hoa advises customers to remove all the leaves before placing the stems in a vase after receiving them. The green fruits on the branches will ripen completely after about 4 or 5 days of being placed in a vase of water, and the fragrance of the persimmon will begin to spread.
