The image of Ms. Nguyen Thi Beo, Head of the Women's Association in Hung Dao Vuong Hamlet (Long Chau Ward), has become familiar and close to many members, women, and children in difficult circumstances through her practical, simple yet meaningful humanitarian actions. Through her sincerity, responsibility, and skillful community outreach, she has contributed to spreading the spirit of solidarity and sharing within the community, working together to build a more prosperous homeland.

Thanks to her skillful community outreach, Ms. Nguyen Thi Beo regularly provides essential supplies to those in need in the area.
Thanks to her skillful community outreach, Ms. Nguyen Thi Beo regularly provides essential supplies to those in need in the area.

Having worked in the local area for many years, Ms. Nguyen Thi Beo has always been energetic and enthusiastic in every activity of the Women's Association of Hung Dao Vuong Hamlet. Imbued with President Ho Chi Minh 's teachings on thrift, love, and responsibility towards the people, Ms. Beo always uses helping those in need as her motivation to contribute. Many social welfare models have been effectively maintained, such as the "Rice Jar of Compassion," the "Women's Savings Group Following Uncle Ho's Teachings," the "Savings Piggy Bank," and the "Revolving Fund for Health Insurance"... These models have created a very practical source of support, providing both material and spiritual motivation for many poor members to overcome difficulties and rise above their circumstances.

Thanks to skillful community outreach, many of the branch's movements have received positive responses from members and local people. A prime example is the "Saving in accordance with Uncle Ho's teachings" model, which has organized 14 groups with over 180 members participating. In 2025 alone, these savings models supported 32 disadvantaged members with capital for small businesses and helped 32 members purchase health insurance cards, totaling over 85 million VND.

The "Saving Money in Piggy Banks" movement has also spread strongly throughout the community. On the occasion of International Women's Day (March 8th), the branch organized the opening of 125 piggy banks, saving over 110 million VND to support the purchase of health insurance and school supplies for the children of its members. According to Ms. Bèo, the most valuable thing is not just the financial support, but the fact that it helps women gain more confidence and strength to improve their lives.

Ms. Tran Mong Kieu (from Hung Dao Vuong hamlet) pointed to her small coffee stall and smiled, saying, "Thanks to Ms. Beo's active promotion and encouragement of participation in the savings model of the association, I have more capital to sell soft drinks and coffee, which are quite popular, so life has improved a lot. Although we women only save a little and do small businesses, it's effective, our lives have changed a lot, we feel more relaxed, and our quality of life is constantly improving."

In social welfare work, Ms. Nguyen Thi Beo has always been at the forefront of mobilizing resources to care for the poor and those in difficult circumstances. Every Lunar New Year or at the beginning of the new school year, she is busy with other members preparing gifts for poor children and students who overcome difficulties and excel in their studies. In the 2025-2026 school year, the branch mobilized over 1,500 notebooks, numerous scholarships, and school supplies to give to the children of members in difficult circumstances, demonstrating care, sharing, and faith in the future of the younger generation.

One of the most emotionally fulfilling activities that Ms. Nguyen Thi Beo is passionate about is the "Godmother" program. She sponsors a student in her neighborhood, providing cash, necessities, and school supplies totaling over 6 million VND over the past year. In addition, she has mobilized benefactors to support an abandoned child, providing them with 500,000 VND per month, along with clothing, milk, and other essential items.

According to Nguyen Dang Phuong Khanh, Chairwoman of the Long Chau Ward Women's Union, Ms. Nguyen Thi Beo is an enthusiastic, responsible, and exemplary union official in local movements and activities. Her approachable, sincere, and responsible approach, with the motto "going to every alley, knocking on every door," and her skillful community outreach have contributed to stabilizing the lives of many women and helping the local community build a civilized urban and cultural life.

In 2025, Ms. Nguyen Thi Beo received a certificate of commendation from the People's Committee of Long Chau Ward and a certificate of merit from the Vinh Long Provincial Women's Union for her outstanding work in the women's union and women's movement.
