VTV.vn - Nearly 3.5 million people receiving pensions and social insurance benefits nationwide will receive their payments from June 1st or June 2nd, depending on the payment schedule in each locality.

Nearly 3.5 million pensioners and social insurance beneficiaries nationwide will receive their payments starting June 1st or 2nd.

The Social Security agency has just released official information regarding the payment schedule for pensions and social insurance benefits in June 2026 for beneficiaries nationwide. Accordingly, the payment schedule is divided into two groups based on the first or second working day of the month.

Specifically, the Social Insurance agencies in 21 provinces and cities will begin payments from the first working day of the month (June 1st), including: Son La, Dien Bien, Lang Son, Nghe An, Quang Ninh, Cao Bang, Bac Ninh, Hung Yen, Ninh Binh, Phu Tho, Tuyen Quang, Thua Thien Hue, Binh Dinh, Khanh Hoa, Lam Dong, Dak Lak, Ho Chi Minh City, Can Tho City, Vinh Long, Ca Mau and Kien Giang.

Meanwhile, 13 provinces and cities begin payments from the second working day of the month (June 2nd), including: Hanoi , Lai Chau, Thanh Hoa, Thai Nguyen, Hai Phong, Ha Tinh, Quang Tri, Lao Cai, Quang Ngai, Da Nang, Dong Nai, Tay Ninh, and Dong Thap.

In Hanoi, the Social Insurance agency announced that payments via personal bank accounts will be made on June 2nd (Tuesday), in accordance with the city's schedule. For those receiving cash, the Social Insurance agency is coordinating with the post office to develop a payment plan immediately after this date.

In June 2026, Hanoi Social Insurance plans to allocate over 4.199 billion VND to pay pensions and social insurance benefits to more than 606,800 beneficiaries in the city.

In Bac Ninh, beneficiaries will receive payments via their personal accounts starting June 1st (Monday). Cash payments will also be implemented later by the Social Insurance agency in coordination with the post office, ensuring timely delivery.

Similarly, in Ho Chi Minh City and Quang Ninh, beneficiaries will receive their payments starting from June 1st; while in Hai Phong, payments will begin on June 2nd according to the local schedule.

According to current regulations, pension and social insurance benefit payments via personal accounts are made at regional social insurance agencies no later than the 5th of each month. For cash payments, from the 12th to the 25th of each month, payments will continue at the transaction points of the payment service provider.

According to Vietnam Social Security, there are currently about 3.5 million people nationwide receiving monthly pensions. Of these, over 11,500 receive 20 million VND or more per month; nearly 418,500 receive between 10 and under 20 million VND; over 1 million receive between 6 and under 10 million VND; and approximately 1.35 million receive between 3 and under 6 million VND per month.
