Hanoi Railway Company Limited (Hanoi Metro) has just reported to the Department of Transport details of the train service disruption on the Nhon - Hanoi Station Metro line on the evening of October 24th, which resulted in delays for 6 trains and the cancellation of 8 trains.

Specifically, according to Hanoi Metro, at 5:24 PM, there was a power outage affecting the traction system serving trains in the Le Duc Tho, National University, Chua Ha, and Cau Giay stations.
Immediately after discovering the incident, the company activated its incident response plan according to established procedures. Specifically, the Operations Control Center immediately notified relevant units about the incident, including: the Power Repair Team; the Signal and Communication Team; the Nhon Depot, the Station Operations Team, the Train Drivers, the Hanoi City Traffic Management and Operation Center, and Contractor CP06... to gather information and coordinate the incident response.
The train was suspended at Nhổn, Cầu Giấy, and Cầu Diễn stations, and announcements were made to passengers. Train 04 stopped in the middle of the National University - Lê Đức Thọ station section. The train driver continuously made announcements, exchanged information, and reassured passengers.
The station's public address system continuously updates passengers on incident response times and the situation, coordinating with on-site units. Passengers who had purchased tickets but no longer wished to continue their journey were refunded according to regulations.
At 6:01 PM, the power system malfunction was restored, and electricity was supplied to the area from Le Duc Tho station to Cau Giay station. By 6:15 PM, all four trains on the line were back in normal operation.
Notably, Hanoi Metro affirmed that the entire incident handling process followed established procedures and was within the 57 incident response scenarios. During the incident, the company ensured safety and provided excellent information services to passengers on the line.
