This Toyota Alphard has been heavily modified in the style of a Land Cruiser.

At the Tokyo Auto Salon 2026, a special edition Toyota Alphard attracted attention with its design style inspired by the Land Cruiser off-road vehicle.

This premium Toyota Alphard MPV has been comprehensively modified, targeting customers who seek comfort while still desiring a powerful appearance, ready for adventurous journeys.

The car is equipped with a body kit from Double Eight, giving it a significantly more muscular and taller appearance compared to the standard version. The front end is upgraded with a steel front bumper, a TRD logo skid plate, a bull bar front bumper, and auxiliary LED lighting.

Additionally, the vehicle is fitted with large roof rails and six auxiliary headlights, reminiscent of dedicated off-road SUVs. Black painted wheels paired with Toyo Open Country R/T off-road tires enhance traction in challenging conditions.

Although the suspension specifications haven't been released, it's clear the vehicle has been significantly raised with modifications to the springs and shock absorbers. The rear features distinctive off-road details such as a brightly colored rescue board mounted on the trunk, a side-mounted spare wheel, a modified rear bumper, and extended fender flares.

Besides its impressive appearance, this Alphard model retains the basic minivan operating configuration, lacking specialized features such as four-wheel drive, differential locks, or advanced terrain control systems found on the Land Cruiser.

Nevertheless, the combination of the inherent comfort of Toyota's MPV line with an adventurous design style shows a new trend for customers who want a versatile vehicle that is also full of personality.

An off-road modified version of the Alphard has not yet been confirmed for market release, but if the accessories are commercialized, it will likely attract interest from customers who like to personalize their family cars in an off-road style, even if they don't actually leave the city streets.
