Conquer the challenge in the Victory Challenge 2026 Upgrade category.

To reach the competition area for the Upgrade category at the Victory Challenge 2026 Off-Road Motorsports Race, we had to travel nearly 30 minutes from the race center deep into the mountains near Dak Loc Lake (North Nha Trang ward). The road leading to the competition site was rugged, with many steep slopes, jagged rocks, and uneven ground after the previous rains. This challenging route helped the racing teams better understand the obstacles they would have to overcome.

Amidst the vast mountain landscape, where only the sounds of engines and cheers echoed across the slopes, 14 teams in the Upgrade category began their first day of competition with two challenges, SS20 and SS21. From early morning, the teams were present at the starting area, undergoing technical and safety checks as required by the organizers before officially competing.

The referee team reviewed the rules and regulations for the Advanced category competition.

The atmosphere at the race track was vibrant. Despite being deep in the mountains, many spectators and family members of the teams still came to watch and cheer. The specially upgraded off-road vehicles successively moved into the starting position, ready to face the challenges ahead.

According to Mr. Nguyen Thanh Tan, Head of Referee Team No. 1, the SS20 test is one of the notable events in the Advanced category. “Athletes will have to conquer the challenge of pulling a winch on a slope with an incline of nearly 90 degrees. The maximum time for the test is 25 minutes. However, with the current capabilities of the teams, I think it will only take about 5 minutes to complete. The most important point to note is the steep slope, while the rest is relatively easy for the teams to handle,” Mr. Tan said.

The audience cheered enthusiastically for a car that successfully overcame a significant challenge.

Before the start, many athletes displayed a relaxed and determined attitude. For Ho Huy Hoang, an athlete from the Quang Tri team, this was his first time participating in a large-scale professional competition. “Normally, I mainly play off-road and camping with my friends. For this competition, the team has prepared quite thoroughly in terms of technical skills and logistics. Everyone is very enthusiastic and will compete to the best of their ability. I think the organizers have run the competition very professionally. The weather today is also favorable. I came here not only to compete but also to meet, interact with, and learn more from the community of motorcycle enthusiasts nationwide,” Hoang shared.

Cheers erupted whenever a car successfully navigated a challenging ramp or skillfully handled obstacles. More than just a competition for performance, the race showcased the spirit of teamwork and mutual support among the racing teams throughout the competition.

After completing his part of the competition, athlete Doan Vinh Loc couldn't hide his excitement. “I've participated in the competition for many years, and returning this year still makes me very excited. Despite a few minor hiccups, the team still finished in a pretty good time. What I like most about Victory Challenge is that it creates a platform for everyone to interact, bond, and support each other. To compete well, the team members have to practice, coordinate effectively, and that strengthens their camaraderie,” said Loc.

Amidst the pristine mountain scenery of Dak Loc Lake, off-road vehicles continuously roared uphill, conquering challenges. Beyond showcasing captivating technical displays, the Upgrade category also demonstrated the growing appeal of off-road driving, where teamwork, courage, and passion were clearly evident on every stretch of the track.
