Xom Ray Market (Hamlet 14, My Ngai Ward, Dong Thap Province) is a community-based tourism model with the participation of a large number of local people. The 27 stalls are designed using bamboo and leaves, and environmentally friendly materials are prioritized for decoration and food packaging.
Visiting a rural market is like stepping back into cherished memories of days gone by. Strolling through the peaceful countryside with its rice paddies, vegetable patches, and corn stalks in full bloom and bearing fruit... on a warm spring afternoon is an unforgettable experience.

Ms. Hoang Truc, a tourist from An Giang , said that she came to Dong Thap this Tet holiday to celebrate and visit the local market with her family. She was quite impressed with this tourism model and had visited several local markets before, each with its own unique characteristics.
"With Xóm Rẫy market, I enjoy the relaxing feeling of strolling through the countryside like this. And especially, my children get to experience an afternoon in the fields, close to the nature of their hometown and eat traditional local cakes," said Ms. Trúc.
