Removing Mr. Le Quang Huy from his duties as a National Assembly delegate

The National Assembly Standing Committee has passed a resolution agreeing to dismiss Mr. Le Quang Huy, a 15th National Assembly deputy from the National Assembly Delegation of Lam Dong province, from his duties as a deputy of the 15th National Assembly.

A press release from the National Assembly Office stated that on the afternoon of October 6, the Standing Committee of the National Assembly Party Committee and the National Assembly Standing Committee held a conference to consider and decide on the dismissal of Mr. Le Quang Huy, a National Assembly deputy of the 15th tenure, from the National Assembly Delegation of Lam Dong province.

Pursuant to the Constitution, the Law on Organization of the National Assembly and relevant legal provisions; pursuant to the opinions of competent agencies; pursuant to the Submission of the Standing Committee of the Delegation Work Committee; considering the Application for resignation from the duties of a National Assembly deputy dated September 22, 2025 of Mr. Le Quang Huy, the Standing Committee of the National Assembly discussed, voted by secret ballot to approve and promulgate Resolution No. 1854/NQ-UBTVQH15.

Accordingly, the National Assembly Standing Committee unanimously agreed to dismiss Mr. Le Quang Huy, a XV National Assembly delegate from the Lam Dong Provincial National Assembly Delegation, from his duties as a deputy of the 15th National Assembly.

Also on October 6 - the first working day of the 13th Conference of the 13th Party Central Committee, the Party Central Committee agreed to let comrade Le Quang Huy resign from the position of member of the 13th Party Central Committee according to his personal wish.

Previously, on September 29, the National Assembly Standing Committee agreed to allow Mr. Le Quang Huy, member of the National Assembly Standing Committee, Chairman of the Science , Technology and Environment Committee of the 15th National Assembly, to retire from work from October 1, 2025 according to his personal wishes.

At the same time, the National Assembly Standing Committee assigned Mr. Le Minh Hoan, member of the Party Central Committee, Vice Chairman of the National Assembly, to be in charge of, direct and manage the activities of the Committee on Science, Technology and Environment of the 15th National Assembly until the position of Chairman of the Committee on Science, Technology and Environment of the 15th National Assembly is completed.
