Choosing vegetarian cuisine is a choice of the heart

Nguyen Thanh Ha is the image ambassador for the 2025 Vegetarian Food Festival organized by the People's Committee of Binh Phu Ward (old District 6) in coordination with the Ho Chi Minh City Culinary Association, lasting from October 31 to November 4.

Choosing vegetarian cuisine is not just about taste.

Nguyen Thanh Ha expressed that she felt very happy to be the image ambassador for the vegetarian food festival. She emphasized that choosing vegetarian cuisine does not only come from the taste buds but also from the heart of each of us.

"When we choose to live green, our daily activities will be greener, cleaner and more beautiful, minimizing the amount of blood released into the environment.

At the same time, it is also about nurturing our love for the environment through vegetarianism, creating a unique culture and identity for Vietnam, developing clean vegetarianism in life" - Nguyen Thanh Ha shared.

On the opening night, she and the organizers and artists gave gifts to disadvantaged students who strived to study well.

Nguyen Thanh Ha was also the main model presenting the Ngan Hoa fashion collection, one of the highlights of the program.

The opening night was not blessed with favorable weather. It rained heavily from the beginning to the end of the show. MC Vu Manh Cuong, Ngoc Tien and the artists had to perform in the rain for the audience.

Vegetarian for green environment

Speaking at the opening ceremony, Vice Chairwoman of Binh Phu Ward People's Committee Nguyen Thi Hang shared that the festival was organized with the desire to spread the value of Vietnamese vegetarian cuisine, spread the message of green living, healthy living, for a green environment.

"This is not only an opportunity for Binh Phu people in particular and city residents and tourists to enjoy the sophistication of Vietnamese vegetarian cuisine.

Through each vegetarian dish, each person will feel the value of sharing, love and responsibility to the community and society" - Ms. Hang emphasized.

She hopes that this festival will be held annually and the spirit of "Green Binh Phu" will leave a mark and a beautiful image in the community. With a green park with many trees, clean, nearly 7 hectares wide, she thinks that Binh Phu Park is ideal to welcome other festivals to come and hold here.

In the program, in addition to the performances by professional artists such as May Trang group, Duong Ngoc Thai, Kyo York, Trieu Ai Vy, La Chi Hung, Thao Nhi, circus artist Hien Phuoc... there was also a "homegrown" fashion show by elementary school teachers in Binh Phu ward, the Sac Sen Binh Phu collection.
