The first edition of the "Women's Heart - Pearl Heart" art program, titled " Moonlight Like Pearl," recently took place at the Hoa Binh Theater in Ho Chi Minh City. The concert featured artists such as Huong Lan, Thanh Hang, Quoc Dai, and Ha Van... Despite unfavorable weather, many audience members arrived early.
Renowned singer Huong Lan was a prominent guest performer at the concert. The female artist performed songs associated with her name such as "Con Thuong Rau Dang Moc Sau He," "Long Me," "Sa Mua Giong," "Hinh Bong Que Nha," etc.
Returning to the stage in Ho Chi Minh City – a place filled with both joyful and sad memories in her singing career – Huong Lan was moved by the warm welcome from over 2000 audience members. After COVID-19, the female artist said she cherishes even more the opportunities to perform for the public.

"I feel my health is improving thanks to proper care. I'm confident I can sing 10-15 songs in a row whenever I'm on stage. That's also what motivates me to work hard and actively in my old age," she shared.
The artist said that at nearly 70 years old, she still performs tirelessly both domestically and internationally to repay the public's kindness. Her family always supports and encourages her to pursue art until she is too weak to continue.
Mr. Quoc Toan – Huong Lan's husband – also attended the event. He sat attentively in the audience, watching his wife's performance and that of other artists. As soon as the show ended, he stayed for a while to wait for his wife to take commemorative photos and interact with everyone, then kindly inquired about her well-being and offered words of encouragement.
For many years, her husband has been her companion and a strong support system, allowing the artist to freely pursue her musical career and charitable activities.
"Luckily, I've retired, so I can spend more time supporting my wife in her daily work. We're getting older, so we try to arrange our schedules to balance work and rest. We're well aware that we don't have much time left, so we try our best," he shared.

Along with Huong Lan, Thanh Hang was also selected by the organizers to honor women of the previous generation.
Since returning to Vietnam in 2017, Thanh Hang's work and life have undergone many positive changes. The artist is happy to be working in her profession, loved by the audience, and in high demand as a judge. She expressed her joy that after a period of decline, Cai Luong (Vietnamese traditional opera) is being embraced and loved by many, especially the younger generation.
Thanh Hang expressed her gratitude for the profound message and meaning the program conveyed to women. The artist hopes that, following the success of "Pearl Heart," many more programs will be created in the future that bring similar values.

The organizers stated that they have been supporting and raising funds for the Vietnam Heartbeat program to help provide free heart surgery for underprivileged children. During the program, they also donated money to the fund and hoped to spread this meaningful message to even more people.
