
The delegation visited and presented gifts to the family of Mrs. Ngo Thi Phuong (born in 1937), on Ba Trieu Street, Hai Ba Trung Ward. Mrs. Phuong is the wife of martyr Tran Hung Hai. When her husband died, Mrs. Phuong took care of and raised her two grown sons. Mrs. Ngo Thi Phuong's family always strictly followed the policies and laws of the Party and State, and actively participated in contributing to and building the common movements of the residential group.
* On the same morning, the city delegation also visited and presented gifts to the family of Mr. Do Binh Tien (born in 1951) on Lo Duc Street, Hai Ba Trung Ward. Mr. Tien is a 41% disabled veteran who fought in the Laos battlefield in 1972 and was injured. In 1974, Mr. Tien continued to participate in the campaign to liberate the South.

During his military service, Mr. Do Binh Tien achieved many achievements and was awarded many medals and orders. Mr. Tien himself, the former Head of the Front Work Committee in the residential group, made many contributions to the locality. His family always complied with the policies and laws of the Party and the State.
At the families, on behalf of the city leaders, Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee, Chairman of the City People's Council Nguyen Ngoc Tuan expressed his deep gratitude for the blood sacrifices of wounded soldiers and martyrs in exchange for peace , independence and freedom for today.
Comrade Nguyen Ngoc Tuan emphasized that, following the tradition of "When drinking water, remember its source", in recent times, Hanoi city has always paid deep attention, especially to policy beneficiaries and meritorious people. This is demonstrated through the city's issuance of mechanisms and policies to care for these beneficiaries. The city has also implemented social security programs well, contributing to improving the quality of life for the people.
On the occasion of the 78th anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs Day, the Chairman of the City People's Council expressed his wish that the families always have good health and continue to contribute to the neighborhood and residential area. Comrade Nguyen Ngoc Tuan suggested that the Party Committee and the Hai Ba Trung Ward government continue to pay more attention and care to the people in the area, especially policy beneficiaries.
