On May 18, in Vinh city, Nghe An province, the Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics, the Central Propaganda and Education Commission, the Ministry of Public Security , the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee and the Nghe An Provincial Party Committee jointly organized a national scientific conference: "President Ho Chi Minh - A noble symbol of the will and aspiration for national independence, freedom and happiness for the people".
Attending and chairing the workshop were comrades: Professor, Doctor Nguyen Xuan Thang, Politburo member, Director of the Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics, Chairman of the Central Theoretical Council; General Luong Tam Quang, Politburo member, Secretary of the Central Public Security Party Committee, Minister of Public Security; Dr. Pham Tat Thang, Party Central Committee member, Deputy Head of the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commission; Nguyen Thanh Nghi, Party Central Committee member, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee; Nguyen Duc Trung, Secretary of the Nghe An Provincial Party Committee; Professor, Doctor Le Van Loi - Deputy Director of the Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics; representatives of central departments, ministries, branches and scientists at the central and local levels.
Affirming the everlasting vitality of Ho Chi Minh's heritage
In his opening speech at the workshop, Comrade Nguyen Xuan Thang, Politburo member, Director of the Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics, Chairman of the Central Theoretical Council, affirmed that President Ho Chi Minh - Hero of national liberation, outstanding cultural figure, genius leader, great teacher of the Party and the Vietnamese revolution. He opened the way and guided our nation on the journey of fighting for national independence, freedom, and happiness of the people.
He is the shining embodiment of Vietnamese patriotism, of the will and aspiration that "there is nothing more precious than independence and freedom"; the crystallization of the beauty of intelligence, dignity, spirit and conscience of the nation and the era; a noble symbol that endlessly inspires the peoples of the world who always yearn for freedom, justice and peace.
Applying and creatively developing Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and style in every step and strategic decision, our Party has led the comprehensive and synchronous promotion of innovation, development and deep international integration, achieving great achievements of historical significance.
“Commemorating the 135th birthday of the great President Ho Chi Minh, today's conference is an opportunity for us to continue to honor and deeply imbue Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and style - a priceless heritage of the Vietnamese nation and revolution, in the cause of building, developing the country and defending the Fatherland,” Comrade Nguyen Xuan Thang emphasized.
In his welcoming speech, Secretary of Nghe An Provincial Party Committee Nguyen Duc Trung said: The workshop contributes to affirming, raising awareness, spreading and further promoting the ideological values, ethics, will and noble aspirations of Uncle Ho in the new revolutionary period.
Many valuable theoretical and practical contents from the presentations of scientific researchers and management leaders will be an important basis to help all levels, sectors and localities build strategies, resolutions, programs and policies for the new and long-term term.
For Nghe An, the provincial leaders determined to promptly absorb and apply the theoretical and practical values from the Workshop in successfully implementing the Resolutions of the Politburo, especially the key Resolutions including: Resolution No. 57-NQ/TW on breakthroughs in science and technology development, innovation and national digital transformation; Resolution No. 59-NQ/TW on international integration in the new situation; Resolution No. 66-NQ/TW on innovation in law-making and enforcement to meet the requirements of national development in the new era; Resolution No. 68-NQ/TW on private economic development; Resolution No. 39-NQ/TW of the Politburo on building and developing Nghe An province to 2030, with a vision to 2045, and the conclusion of General Secretary To Lam at the working session with the Standing Committee of the Nghe An Provincial Party Committee on May 15 to build the Resolution of the 20th Provincial Party Congress; Build an Action Program to achieve the goal of "a fairly good province," becoming a model of modern local development in the new era.
That is also the most vivid and practical way for Nghe An province and its units and localities to thoroughly grasp, creatively apply, and promote to the highest level the will and aspiration for national independence, freedom, and happiness for the people according to Ho Chi Minh's thought in the new era - the era of aspiration for national strength and independence, and prosperity and happiness for the people.
Promoting Ho Chi Minh's heritage
Concluding the Workshop, General Luong Tam Quang, Politburo member, Secretary of the Central Public Security Party Committee, Minister of Public Security emphasized: The Workshop received 90 articles and scientific presentations and at the Workshop there were 10 presentations from leaders of central and local departments, ministries, branches, practical activists, scientists, generals of the people's armed forces with very dedicated content, explaining, analyzing, and evaluating to deepen the life and glorious revolutionary career of President Ho Chi Minh, honoring his great contributions in realizing the aspiration for national independence, freedom, and happiness for the people; affirming the stature, value, and everlasting vitality of Ho Chi Minh's legacy for Vietnam and the world; suggesting many issues to continue to apply and creatively develop his thoughts in the new era of the nation.
The presentations at the workshop focused on clarifying the issue of Vietnam's development in the Ho Chi Minh era - the most brilliant era in the nation's history - as a vivid proof. Today's workshop also unanimously assessed that the will and aspiration for national independence and the people's freedom and happiness were the red thread running through the heroic life, full of hardships and sacrifices, extremely noble, pure and beautiful of President Ho Chi Minh, urging the young man Nguyen Tat Thanh to set out to find a way to save the country; met the guiding light of Marxism-Leninism and found the path of proletarian revolution to save the country and liberate the nation.
The speeches also affirmed that Ho Chi Minh's will, aspirations and his great contributions to the revolutionary cause of the Party and the nation continue to be a source of great encouragement and motivation; fostering in our entire Party, people and army a strong aspiration and determination to build a country that is "more dignified and more beautiful," "on par with the great powers of the five continents," and "contributing worthily to the world revolutionary cause."
Promoting Ho Chi Minh's legacy, Ho Chi Minh's will and aspirations, under the Party's wise and talented leadership, our entire Party, people and army will certainly overcome all difficulties and challenges, create new miracles, successfully implement the strategic goals of the 100th anniversary of the Party's founding, the 100th anniversary of the country's founding, and bring the country firmly into a new era, an era of national growth.
General Luong Tam Quang also requested agencies and units to actively exploit and use the results of the Workshop in the process of studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and style.
Along with that, spread, nurture, foster, and strongly promote Ho Chi Minh's will and aspirations among all classes of people and armed forces, concretizing them through specific actions and deeds in building an increasingly prosperous and happy country./.
