On the afternoon of August 12, at the Presidential Palace, President Vo Van Thuong met with 8 international and Vietnamese scientists to attend the International Scientific Conference "Windows overlooking the universe."

The conference was held on the occasion of the 30th anniversary of the establishment of the Vietnam Association of Science Encounters, the 10 years of operation of the International Center for Interdisciplinary Science and Education (ICISE) in Quy Nhon city, Binh Dinh.

Speaking at the meeting, representatives of scientists said that Vietnam is a country with a young, dynamic workforce with potential and the will to rise.

Vietnam also fully converges factors to develop basic science and promote the development of the future. Many Vietnamese scientists are well known nationally and internationally.
