Speaking at the program, Head of the National Assembly Delegation of Ho Chi Minh City Nguyen Van Loi expressed his honor to welcome the President of the Cuban National Assembly and the high-ranking delegation to visit the city, especially to visit the University of Technical Education - a leading training and research institution in science, technology and engineering in the country.

The Party Committee, government and people of the city will forever remember the selfless, loyal and wholehearted support that Cuba has given to Vietnam during the years of resistance as well as in the construction and development process today.

The Head of the City National Assembly Delegation affirmed that the city will continue to promote its role and contribute to deepening this special relationship through practical cooperation programs in many fields, especially science and technology, innovation, education and training, high-tech agriculture and technology transfer for the sustainable development of each country.

Cuba will forever remember the image of the outstanding sons of Vietnam who heroically sacrificed for independence and freedom, and is proud that Cubans have fallen on this heroic land, demonstrating the strong and pure solidarity between the two peoples.

According to Ms. Truong Thi Hien, after 63 years of construction and development, Ho Chi Minh City University of Technical Education with the philosophy of "Humanity - Creativity - Integration" has affirmed its position in the Vietnamese higher education system, belonging to the group of 5 national key institutions in technical technology. The school is currently a pioneer in training in new technology fields, especially renewable energy, hydrogen, artificial intelligence, IoT, post-harvest technology, and smart agriculture.
