According to the plan, on May 18th, the Steering Committee for the Search, Collection, and Identification of the Remains of Martyrs in Quang Ngai Province will conduct DNA sampling on 34 unidentified graves at Nghia Trung Martyrs Cemetery to facilitate identification, identification, and data digitization. Nghia Trung Martyrs Cemetery currently contains 74 graves of soldiers from various localities who fought and died in Tu Nghia commune during different periods of the resistance war.
The Steering Committee has established four working groups: a sample collection group, a transportation and handover group, an information digitization group, and an excavation and tomb construction group. Relevant units are coordinating to prepare the necessary conditions to ensure that sample collection is conducted solemnly and according to procedure, demonstrating gratitude to the heroic martyrs.
