The People's Committee of Long An province has issued a plan for implementing the program to develop high-tech agriculture associated with restructuring the agricultural sector in the province for the period 2021-2025.
To date, in general, cadres, Party members, and the people have a deep understanding of the significance and importance of applying high technology to agricultural production, aiming to lower production costs, increase productivity and profits, improve people's lives, and contribute to building people's trust in the Party's guidelines and the State's policies and laws.
Implementing this project also helps to upgrade and expand rural infrastructure. Many rural roads have been built, irrigation canals have been dredged, and electricity and pumping stations have been constructed, creating favorable conditions for high-tech agricultural production. It has mobilized resources for the implementation of agricultural and rural development.
In 2025, Long An province will focus on implementing and exceeding the targets of the Project on the Development of High-Tech Agriculture in conjunction with the Restructuring of the Agricultural Sector for the period 2021-2025.
