With the orientation of producing high-quality coffee, Dak Ka Cooperative has boldly invested in many new technologies. In the preliminary processing stage, the Cooperative has replaced manual selection with a color separation system using artificial intelligence (AI), helping to improve accuracy and minimize errors.
Along with that, greenhouse technology is deployed in the coffee drying process to help limit the impact of weather, ensuring uniformity and stability for coffee beans.
To create a difference in flavor, the cooperative applies biotechnology in the coffee fermentation process, a stage considered the most important in creating product quality.
Through cooperation with the Ho Chi Minh City Biotechnology Center, the Cooperative has researched, isolated and cultivated beneficial microorganisms, put them into production, preliminary processing and large-scale coffee processing. Thanks to that, the Cooperative's coffee products are not only more delicious but also carry the unique identity of Dak Ka land.
Not only focusing on production, Dak Ka Cooperative also strongly transformed in administration and trade.
According to Mr. Tran Van Phu, Director of the Cooperative, the unit has digitized about 50% of office activities and organized online meetings, thereby reducing 20-30% of personnel costs and increasing operational efficiency.
Dak Ka Cooperative has a joint raw material area of about 100 hectares. The Cooperative organizes sustainable coffee production, ensuring that 100% of the coffee is harvested ripe, processed using methods, and dried in greenhouses. This process helps preserve the natural flavor, while improving the uniformity and quality of the coffee.

In the production of finished products, the cooperative uses automatic roasting control software according to pre-programmed formulas. Thanks to that, roasted and ground coffee products achieve high stability, save fuel and ensure consistent output quality.
Regarding commerce, the cooperative proactively deploys digital sales channels such as tiktok, facebook, zalo, website... to increase market access.
The cooperative uses QR codes to trace the origin of each product, helping customers easily verify the quality and at the same time increase trust in the Dak Ka brand.
In addition, HTX also applies artificial intelligence such as ChatGPT, Gemini to support digital content creation, fanpage and customer care, contributing to improving communication and marketing effectiveness.

Mr. Tran Van Phu, Director of the Cooperative, said that for a cooperative to successfully transform digitally, the key factors are investment in technology infrastructure, training quality human resources, and strengthening connections with institutes and businesses. However, the digital transformation process still faces many challenges, especially for small and medium-sized cooperatives.
The experience of Dak Ka Cooperative shows that digital transformation is not just a playground for large enterprises. Cooperatives can absolutely do it if they have determination, the right approach and receive appropriate support.

In addition, in addition to proactive implementation according to the needs and conditions of cooperatives, it is necessary to have the support of capital support policies, technical training, technology transfer, information security assurance, etc. from functional sectors so that the digital transformation model in cooperatives can truly spread and be effective.
