Although the weather has been unfavorable in recent days, with continuous heavy rain, preparations for the opening ceremony of the 80-year National Achievements Exhibition are ready. The booths have completed their displays with many attractive contents, imbued with the cultural identity of each locality, clearly demonstrating the country's aspirations for development.

Opening ceremony imbued with cultural identity

According to Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Nguyen Van Hung, the opening ceremony will take place as scheduled, at 8:30 a.m. and end before 11:00 a.m. on August 28. The art program of the opening ceremony is expected to last about 50 minutes. After the art program, the Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism - Head of the Exhibition Organizing Committee will have a general report on the results of the implementation of work related to the Exhibition and an overall introduction of the Exhibition of National Achievements on the occasion of the 80th National Day. After that, the Prime Minister will give a speech.

Next, the delegates performed the button-pressing ceremony to officially open the National Achievements Exhibition on the occasion of the 80th National Day. At the end of the ceremony, Party and State leaders and delegates will visit the Exhibition space. The art program was elaborately staged, including songs about the homeland and country.

At the rehearsal held on the evening of August 27, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh emphasized: The opening ceremony of the Exhibition must truly be a spiritual festival, a musical party expressing a joyful, strong, energetic atmosphere, expressing the spirit of the country, the spirit of the 80-year journey of Independence - Freedom - Happiness.

The art program must be attractive, with both classical music and profound symphonies that demonstrate a high level of music appreciation, and modern, vibrant, joyful, and powerful music; and at the same time, warm and smooth ethnic and folk music.

The Prime Minister also requested to arrange the space for the Opening Ceremony reasonably, both the space inside the hall and the space outside, to create an atmosphere for the Opening Ceremony and allow everyone to participate.

On August 28, the booths at the exhibition were also put into trial operation, checking the final stages to prepare for the Opening Ceremony. At the booth of the Ministry of Ethnic Minorities and Religions , in addition to introducing the cultural beauty of 54 ethnic groups, My Thanh Advertising and Entertainment Company Limited - the construction unit - brought 2 smart robots, acting as 2 receptionists, who can welcome and introduce visitors to information about Vietnamese ethnic culture in many languages.

The exhibition area with the theme "Happy Vietnam" organized by the Department of Basic Information and External Information (Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism) will introduce 150 photos and 30 videos with 3 themes: "Land of Happiness", "Happy People", "Moments of Happiness". The exhibition is combined with 3D/VR/Metaverse virtual reality technology.

The exhibition space of the Hanoi People's Committee has the theme "Hanoi Traditional and Creative Space 2025", which highlights key areas in the capital's pillar economic sectors: Agriculture, Tourism and Industry and Trade. The exhibition area shows the harmony between tradition and modernity, between countryside and urban, between heritage and technology.

The exhibition space for handicrafts with the theme “The Redness of Hanoi” honors the values ​​of traditional handicrafts, which have been built up through the ups and downs of the history of building and defending the country. The public can admire unique handicraft products through the talented hands of Hanoi artisans such as ceramics, rattan, lacquer, mother-of-pearl inlay, etc.

The space for performing craft villages has the theme “Quintessence of Hanoi’s craft streets”, introducing the land of a thousand years of culture with more than 1,000 traditional craft villages, a typical feature that is rarely found anywhere else. Visitors can listen to the ups and downs of the craft, feel the love for the craft and the desire to preserve the quintessence of the craft.

The space for displaying technology products - high-tech zones - industrial zones with the theme "Pioneering technology", brings together the most outstanding achievements of the industry and trade sector, from artificial intelligence solutions, smart management software to digital technology applied in many fields such as healthcare, transportation, construction, post, telecommunications... The space depicts the image of a Capital pioneering innovation, holding the position of "leading flag" in production, application and development of technological solutions serving social life.

Hanoi culinary space has the theme “Hanoi Gifts”, honoring the typical flavors of the Capital: Com Lang Vong, Uoc Le ham, sweet apricot, peanut candy, crispy sausage candy, lotus seed longan sweet soup, fragrant Bach Diep lotus tea…

The traditional cultural experience space has the theme "Source of culture", recreating the flow of heritage that has silently nurtured the souls of many generations of Vietnamese people. The public can experience traditional cultural activities such as writing calligraphy, making conical hats, making fans, making clay figurines... Viewers can also see symbols of Hanoi such as: Opera House, Dong Xuan Market, Quan Chuong Gate... expressing pride in a capital with a thousand years of culture and heroic history.

The space displaying ornamental plants has the theme “Village in the City”, recreating the image of a Northern countryside village in the heart of a modern city through rustic scenes such as ancient village gates, mossy communal house roofs, time-discolored brick walls…

Besides, in Hanoi space, the public can also enjoy traditional art programs such as ca tru, xam, cheo, tuong, ao dai performance...

Hanoi's "Tradition and Creativity 2025" space is not only an occasion to honor the capital's thousand-year cultural journey, but also affirms the harmonious blend between tradition and innovation, between heritage and creativity.
