The 30th An Giang Television Cup Seven Mountains Bull Racing Festival is scheduled to open on September 20th.

On the afternoon of August 27th, the People's Committee of Tri Ton commune held a meeting to implement the plan and assign tasks for organizing the 30th Bay Nui Bull Racing Festival for the An Giang Television (ATV) Cup in 2025.

The Bay Nui bull racing festival will open and compete on September 20th at the bull racing arena in Tri Ton commune (Ta Pa - Soai Chek Sports and Tourism Complex).

The competition featured 64 pairs of oxen from 7 communes and wards in An Giang province, including the communes of Tri Ton, Ba Chuc, O Lam, Vinh Gia, Co To, An Cu, Nui Cam, Giang Thanh, and the wards of Chi Lang and Tinh Bien.

Speaking at the meeting, Chairman of the Tri Ton Commune People's Committee Tran Van Cuong requested that relevant departments, organizations, and units prepare well for the organization of the festival according to their functions and duties, ensuring that the festival takes place safely and effectively; strengthen communication efforts, and build a reasonable prize structure. He also called for integrating cultural and artistic activities, displaying OCOP products and local cuisine , creating a festival atmosphere rich in local identity...

The Bay Nui Bull Racing Festival for the An Giang Television Cup is an annual traditional festival of the Khmer people in the Bay Nui region, held during the Sene Don Ta festival. Through this, the festival aims to preserve and promote the unique traditional cultural values ​​of the Khmer people in the Bay Nui region.

At the same time, it promotes the image of tourism, culture, and people of An Giang to domestic and international tourists, contributing to the further development of tourism in Tri Ton commune.
