Hanoi City encourages socialization of activities to support the distribution of free food and drinks to serve people watching the A80 parade.

On August 27, Chairman of Hanoi People's Committee Tran Sy Thanh signed and issued Document No. 4833/UBND-TH on the implementation of Official Dispatch No. 145/CD-TTg dated August 24, 2025 of the Prime Minister.

People excitedly wait to see the rehearsal of the parade to celebrate the 80th National Day, the evening of August 27.

The document clearly states that, implementing the direction of the Prime Minister in Official Dispatch No. 145/CD-TTg dated August 24, 2025 on strengthening safety, security, order, environmental sanitation, and health on the occasion of National Day September 2, the City People's Committee directs as follows:

The Vice Chairmen of the City People's Committee, based on their assigned fields, direct departments, branches, People's Committees of wards and communes and related units to seriously, creatively and effectively implement the direction of the Central Steering Committee to celebrate major holidays and important events of the country and Official Dispatch No. 139/CD-TTg dated August 21, 2025 of the Prime Minister on strengthening the work of ensuring security and order for the National Day on September 2.

Units are regularly on standby, with leaders in charge responsible for ensuring creative, effective and timely handling of situations, especially complex issues that arise.

The City People's Committee assigned the Department of Agriculture and Environment, the Department of Construction, the People's Committees of wards and communes and related units to ensure adequate provision of toilets, waste collection areas and increase sanitation capacity, creating a clean, safe and civilized space during the holidays; strengthen propaganda work, raise people's awareness of environmental sanitation; arrange places for people to rest, avoid rain and sun when going to public places, provide free bread, drinks, umbrellas, etc.

The city assigned the Department of Industry and Trade, the Department of Tourism, the People's Committees of wards and communes to coordinate with relevant units to mobilize volunteer forces, especially young people, women, veterans, etc. to encourage socialization of activities to support the distribution of free food and drinks to serve people watching parades, marches, other sightseeing, entertainment and recreational activities and arrange forces ready to support and guide people at locations where activities take place during the holidays.

Thereby contributing to expressing gratitude to those who sacrificed for the independence and freedom of the Fatherland, the prosperity and happiness of the people and the forces that are training day and night, participating in activities and protecting the great national holiday.

The City People's Committee assigned the City Police to preside over and advise the City People's Committee on the document to report to the Prime Minister (through the Government Office) daily (before 5:00 p.m.) on the security and order situation.
