The meeting was attended by Vietnamese Ambassador to China Ninh Thanh Cong and Major General Le Duc Tuyen, Head of the Representative Office of the Ministry of Public Security of Vietnam in China.
Within the framework of this activity, CAHN Club members offered flowers at the statue of President Ho Chi Minh in the Embassy grounds, expressing their gratitude and national pride before embarking on the journey to conquer the continental arena. The Embassy staff were also present to warmly welcome and give CAHN Club warm and friendly feelings.
On this occasion, CAHN Club presented a souvenir gift of a jersey and a ball signed by the entire coaching staff and players to the Embassy, as a token of gratitude and a wish for solidarity, demonstrating the spirit of exchange, friendship and national pride.
The event has special significance as it takes place on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the Traditional Day of the Vietnam People's Public Security (August 19, 1945 - August 19, 2025) and the 80th anniversary of National Day September 2.
This is also a great source of spiritual encouragement, giving strength to the players and coaching staff of CAHN Club to confidently enter the first match of AFC Champions League 2 with Beijing Guoan Club.
The match between Beijing Guoan Club and CAHN Club in Group E of AFC Champions League 2 will take place at Workers Stadium (Beijing, China) at 7:15 p.m. on September 18 (Vietnam time).
The AFC Champions League Two (abbreviated as ACL2) is an annual continental club football competition organised by the Asian Football Confederation (AFC). The competition is the second tier of the Asian football club competition system, behind the AFC Champions League Elite and above the AFC Challenge League.
The tournament features 32 teams from AFC member nations. The teams are divided into eight groups (4 groups A, B, C, D for West Asia, 4 groups E, F, G, H for East Asia), playing two round-robin matches to determine the top two teams from each group to advance to the knockout stage. The teams then play two separate knockout matches within their own zone until the final, where they play a single match on a neutral ground.
