On the afternoon of February 13th, representatives from the Than Uyên District Police ( Lai Châu province ) announced that they had issued a report against Ms. Lìm Thị T (26 years old, residing in Phúc Than commune, Than Uyên district, Lai Châu province) for the act of using social media to provide and share false information, untrue information, distorted information, slander, and insults that damage the reputation of agencies, organizations, and the honor and dignity of individuals.

The police are working with Ms. T.

Earlier, on the morning of February 13th, the Lai Chau Provincial Police Facebook page received a report that an account named "Linh Nhi" had posted content on Facebook that insulted traffic police officers on duty.

According to the police, Ms. T was the one who posted this content, and the images in the post are from the Muong Kim commune area (Than Uyen district).

At the police station, Ms. T admitted to taking photos of traffic police officers and posting them on Facebook along with insulting comments to gain likes and increase interaction, and also to inform her friends that there was a traffic police checkpoint on duty.
