Appearing on the television program Good Morning Britain recently, former physics teacher Kirsty Buchan (34 years old) explained her decision to sell 18+ content on an "adult" platform. Previously, she had been dismissed by the school board at Bannerman High School in Glasgow, Scotland, UK, for having an inappropriate "side job."
Kirsty said that some male students at her high school discovered she was selling adult content on an "adult" platform, and then they started spreading sensitive images of her. When this reached the school administration, she was in serious trouble and fired. The incident immediately attracted the attention of the British media and the public.

Appearing on the recent Good Morning Britain program, Kirsty stated that she has no regrets about what she did. She was forced to create an account selling adult content to cover expenses during a time of extreme poverty. At that time, her son was seriously ill, her grandmother was undergoing cancer treatment, and she was a single mother with no support.
When asked about her income from the "adult" platform, Kirsty admitted that at one point she earned nearly £60,000 (over 2 billion VND) in a single month. She also stated that she used a different name, wore wigs, and applied heavy makeup in the hope that no one would recognize her.
“I knew there would be risks. I even talked to my son beforehand; he’s a pretty sensible teenager. Only then did I decide to open an account to sell 18+ content,” she said.
Kirsty also acknowledged that once sensitive content is leaked, it can negatively impact the teacher-student relationship. However, even after the incident, Kirsty has maintained contact with many of her former students.
After Kirsty appeared on television, the online community in the UK was abuzz with comments. Many sympathized with the difficult circumstances Kirsty had faced, but many others condemned her for working on an 18+ platform while being a teacher who had previously taught minors.

When faced with criticism and negative feedback, Kirsty asserted that she would not shy away from responsibility (Photo: DM).
"Is she going to teach female students that stripping for money is acceptable? Is this the kind of role model the school, parents, and students have to accept? Accepting compromises to earn more money means she can no longer stand on the podium. This is completely fair," one netizen expressed their outrage.
"No matter the circumstances, a teacher must maintain professional integrity. She can't be a teacher and sell provocative photos online at the same time. When no one else helps her, she has to help herself, but she must also accept the consequences," another netizen analyzed.
When asked if she wanted to return to teaching, Kirsty frankly replied, "No, I suffered from insomnia and chronic sleep deprivation due to the heavy workload and low pay."
When faced with criticism and negative feedback, Kirsty asserted that she would not shy away from responsibility. She considered what happened to her as a vivid and practical lesson for everyone who knew her story.
"I'm not advocating that anyone do what I did, but in my situation, I was desperate for money. I was forced to do what I needed to do," Kirsty shared.
