The competition aims to commemorate the 50th anniversary of Saigon - Gia Dinh City officially being honored with the name of President Ho Chi Minh and the first year of Ho Chi Minh City operating a two-tiered local government system.
As of June 21st, the competition system had recorded nearly 200 entries, with many works demonstrating high quality in terms of ideas, composition, lighting, and vividly depicting the city's development.
SGGP Newspaper respectfully invites professional and amateur photographers, photojournalists, and Vietnamese citizens both domestically and abroad to continue submitting entries to the competition. The Organizing Committee hopes to receive the most beautiful, authentic, and emotionally rich images of Ho Chi Minh City; thereby preserving valuable documentation about the city named after President Ho Chi Minh in its new development journey, contributing to further enhancing the city's glorious name today and in the future.
Each author may register one entry name based on their ID card and submit a maximum of five entries (single photos) to the email address: rangrotenvang@sggp.org.vn, along with complete contact information including: Author's full name, ID card number, mobile phone number, bank account number, personal email address, contact address, and the title of the work (with a clear description of the photo's content, maximum 150 words).
