On May 11th, Viettel Telecom announced the organization of the Y-Fest 2026 series of events with the theme "Harmonizing with Empathy" at the 30/10 Square, Ha Long Ward, Quang Ninh Province.
The event, taking place continuously from May 15th to 17th, marks the first time a large-scale technology concert combined with a digital experience exhibition has been held in Quang Ninh .
The highlight of Y-Fest 2026 lies not in promoting telecommunications services, but in how technology is integrated into the music space to enhance the audience experience.
According to the organizers, the entire event space was designed with an open, interactive approach, where technology became a tool to enhance the emotional experience, helping attendees engage with music in a more intuitive and lively way.
At the 30/10 Square area, numerous digital experience spaces have been set up to allow people to access new technology applications such as digital museums, interactive AI-powered demonstrations, 5G network experiences, and online entertainment platforms.

Among these, the "digital museum" model stands out for combining visual art with image processing technology, allowing participants to create personalized digital portraits.
According to the organizers, the trend of organizing technology-driven concerts is booming worldwide, where audiences not only listen to music but also interact through multiple senses via lighting, projections, and digital technology.
The highlight of Y-Fest 2026 is the grand music festival on the evening of May 17th, featuring a stage with high-tech sound systems, projection, and lighting effects.
The technology concert in Quang Ninh brought together many famous V-Pop artists such as SOOBIN, Bich Phuong, Huong Tram, Tang Duy Tan, Quang Hung MasterD and Orange.
According to event organizers, applying technology to large-scale concerts helps optimize the audience experience in the context of increasingly changing modern music consumption needs.
Beyond simply watching the live performance, audiences can also interact with the digital space, follow synchronized projection effects that follow the rhythm of the music, and access the concert on online platforms.
The fact that Quang Ninh has been continuously organizing large-scale music festivals incorporating technology also shows the trend of developing festival tourism, night-time economy, and modern entertainment in the locality.
Many experts believe that the technology-driven concert model not only creates new cultural products for young people but also contributes to making Quang Ninh a destination for large-scale music and entertainment events in the future.
