Police invite man who beat gas station attendant to work

Police have invited the man who drove a car and beat a gas station employee in Nghe An to come in for questioning.

On the afternoon of January 15, Mr. Nguyen Van Quang - Chairman of the People's Committee of Quynh Tam Commune, Quynh Luu District, Nghe An - said that the commune police had invited the man who beat a gas station employee in the area to come to work.

"Initial information shows that the incident was caused by the man suspecting the gas station of fraud, so he returned and beat the employee. The police are investigating this and taking statements from all parties," said Mr. Quang.

A representative of Quynh Tam Commune Police said the unit has accepted the case and sent a document to superiors.

The identity of the person who beat the male store employee is PVH - 35 years old, residing in Dien Lam commune, Dien Chau district, Nghe An.

Initially at the police station, Mr. H. admitted to hitting Mr. P.D.V. - 37 years old, a gas station employee, in the face.

Speaking over the phone with Tuoi Tre Online , Mr. V. said the incident started when on the morning of January 14, a man drove his car into a gas station to fill up 700,000 VND.

After filling up, the man wondered why the gauge in the car did not increase and suspected fraud.

Mr. V. explained that this is a gas station with full inspection papers.

After filling up the gas, the man got in his car and left, saying he would come back to "talk."

In the afternoon of the same day, this person returned and attacked Mr. V. as recorded in the video.

At the time the man beat Mr. V., there were witnesses including a female customer who was filling up with gas.

"At that time, I was filling up gas for a customer when a man suddenly came and slapped me repeatedly. I was shocked and did not dare to react because he was in a car with two other people," said Mr. V.
