Thua Thien Hue Police mobilized to ensure security and order on the occasion of Lunar New Year 2025

The ceremony mobilized more than 1,000 officers and soldiers, members of the Police forces (Provincial Police and the Mobile Police Battalion of the Ministry of Public Security), Military , Border Guard, Procuracy, Tax, Customs, Traffic Inspectorate, Security and Order at the grassroots level, Militia, Women, Youth Union members, Urban Order, along with 64 special vehicles, equipment, and modern weapons of the Police, Military, Border Guard, K02 and more than 100 other parade vehicles.

Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Nguyen Thanh Binh, Permanent Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Thua Thien Hue province, Head of the Provincial Steering Committee 138, said: In the coming time, Thua Thien Hue will host many major political and social events of the country and the province, especially the New Year, Lunar New Year and Spring festivals. The task of protecting security and order will have higher requirements, especially at the time, the important "milestone" of Thua Thien Hue becoming a centrally-run city, requiring all levels and sectors to continue to strive and make more efforts to absolutely maintain security and order in the area.

In order for the peak period to be successful, serving the people to enjoy Spring and welcome the Lunar New Year 2025, the Standing Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Thua Thien Hue province requested the Party committees and authorities at all levels to focus on leadership, direction, and maximum mobilization of forces and means, synchronously and drastic deploy measures to effectively implement the peak period, and excellently complete the set targets and objectives. Focus on effectively implementing the work of absolutely protecting the safety of key targets, works, events, and festivals of the country and the province, especially activities to welcome the New Year and Hue Festival 2025.

At the ceremony, Comrade Nguyen Thanh Binh, Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, Head of the Provincial Steering Committee 138 issued the order to mobilize departments, branches, agencies, organizations, localities and members of the Steering Committee 138 at all levels based on their functions, tasks, areas and fields to focus on implementing assigned tasks. With the core role, the Public Security force of the whole province highly concentrates its forces and means to resolutely and effectively implement the peak period. Colonel Nguyen Thanh Tuan, Director of Thua Thien Hue Provincial Police Department, suggested: Units should focus on attacking and suppressing all types of crimes, not allowing crimes to increase, eliminate dangerous gangs, groups, and criminal organizations, especially crimes of intentional injury, crimes using firearms to commit crimes; destroying criminal lines operating in "black credit", high-tech crimes, drug crimes and social evils; crimes, violations of the law on trading in prohibited goods, counterfeit goods, poor quality goods, goods that do not ensure food hygiene and safety, and commercial fraud. Strengthen management of conditional business lines; ensure good traffic safety, public order, fire prevention and fighting, etc.

After the launching ceremony, September 9 People's Committees of districts and towns and 141/141 People's Committees at the commune level simultaneously launched and paraded to demonstrate their strength on the streets, creating a strong atmosphere and determination to maintain political security, social order and safety, ensuring that people can enjoy Tet and welcome spring in peace./.
