The Provincial Police Department leaders requested professional units, commune and ward police across the province to strictly implement the duty and combat duty regime; proactively monitor the storm's developments and instructions from superiors to promptly handle arising situations. Units must fully prepare forces, means, equipment, food, and provisions, ready to participate in storm and flood prevention and rescue; proactively review and develop response plans according to the "4 on-site" motto. At the same time, step up propaganda, mobilization, and support for people to evacuate to safe places, minimizing damage.

The provincial police also deployed forces and vehicles to control, regulate and ensure traffic safety on the roads, especially in areas at risk of landslides and deep flooding due to storms and rains; and prepared rescue plans when required.

In key and vulnerable areas, the police force proactively consulted with local Party committees and authorities and coordinated with departments, branches and organizations to deploy plans to evacuate people and property to safe places; at the same time, strengthen security and order, protect key projects and targets, and prevent criminals from taking advantage of storms and floods to steal and destroy property.

On September 25, leaders of the Provincial Police directly inspected storm prevention and control work at commune-level police stations and some key points at risk of landslides to assess the actual situation.
