Ho Chi Minh City police said that people should only use fireworks produced by the Ministry of National Defense and only buy enough for their own use, and should not stockpile large quantities.
The above information was noted by Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Thang Long, Deputy Chief of Staff of Ho Chi Minh City Police Department at the press conference on the afternoon of December 19.
Accordingly, a representative of the Ho Chi Minh City Police Department said that according to regulations, people can use fireworks produced by the Ministry of National Defense, with QR code stamps to prevent counterfeit goods. When buying the product, people can check directly by scanning the QR code on the fireworks product.
In addition, the City Police representative also recommended that people should buy fireworks in sufficient quantity for their intended use, and should not buy large quantities for storage.
When using fireworks, follow the manufacturer's instructions and do not use fireworks near places containing particularly flammable or explosive substances or materials.
Do not use fireworks indoors or in covered spaces; the area must be well-ventilated, free of obstructions, power lines, etc. When the fireworks have burned out, they must be allowed to cool for at least 15 minutes or the fireworks must be watered down so that there are no more embers before being thrown into the trash.
