After a worldwide casting search, filmmakers have chosen Michael Jackson's nephew Jaafar Jackson to play the King of Pop, along with nine-year-old Juliano Krue Valdi as a young Michael. Fans are eagerly awaiting to see who will play the rest of the Jackson family.

Michael is scheduled to hit theaters on April 18, 2025, and is currently in production. Oscar nominee Colman Domingo stars as patriarch Joe Jackson, Nia Long as mother Katherine Jackson, and Miles Teller as attorney John Branca.
Now, the eight actors who will play Michael Jackson's four brothers - who together formed the famous group The Jackson 5 - have been revealed: Jamal R. Henderson plays the older Jermaine Jackson, while Jayden Harville plays the younger version. Tre Horton and Jaylen Lyndon Hunter share the role of Marlon Jackson; Rhyan Hill and Judah Edwards are Tito; Joseph David-Jones and Nathaniel Logan McIntyre play the older and younger versions of Jackie Jackson, respectively.
"The epic nature of this film required a total of 10 talented actors to portray The Jackson 5 over the course of many years," said Graham King when announcing the casting.

Michael covers every aspect of Michael Jackson's life with his most notable performances that led him to become a world music icon. Jaafar Jackson is the son of Jermaine Jackson (Michael Jackson's older brother) who is also a singer and music producer. "Jaafar is the embodiment of my son. It's wonderful to see him continue the Jackson legacy: becoming an artist," Michael Jackson's mother, Katherine Jackson, said.
