kto-tr_img-9789.jpg On August 28, the National Achievements Exhibition to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day (September 2) opened in Hanoi. The Military Industry and Telecommunications Group ( Viettel ) introduced more than 50 civil and military technology products, many of which belong to national strategic technology groups such as new generation telecommunications networks, semiconductor chips, robots, network security and aerospace.

The high-tech military products introduced by Viettel at the exhibition once again affirmed the group's capacity in researching and producing high-tech defense industry, mastering core technology, some of which are close to and equivalent to advanced technology in the world, especially in the field of strategic weapons research.

The VSR01 patrol dog robot model researched and developed by Viettel was first introduced to the public at the exhibition celebrating 80 years of national achievements.

This is an intelligent security patrol robot, designed to replace or support security forces in industrial parks, residential areas, factories and critical infrastructure.

Another new weapon model introduced by Viettel at the exhibition is a 152mm wheeled self-propelled gun. This is a mobile gun capable of providing long-range fire support for infantry and armored vehicles.

The artillery weighs less than 34 tons, equipped with a 152mm main gun. The system integrates ballistic and fire control computers as well as electronic warfare systems.

Truong Son missile complex - one of the modern weapons completely self-sufficient by Viettel from the research and development stage completely by Viettel engineers in Vietnam. Truong Son complex consists of a command and control vehicle, radar vehicle, launcher vehicle, missile transport - loading vehicle and inspection vehicle.

In particular, the Red River missile is a subsonic cruise missile. Naming the complex after the Truong Son mountain range and the missile after the Red River has a deep symbolic meaning: the combination of “mountains and rivers”, affirming the determination to protect the sovereignty , territory and islands of the Fatherland.

Another new weapon model of Viettel is the VU-MALE long-range multi-purpose UAV. This is a strategic UAV line that performs missions such as reconnaissance, real-time target designation, electronic reconnaissance, information relay, and target attack thanks to its multi-load carrying capability.

With the characteristics of continuous operation for a long time and large operating distance, this UAV line stands out in its ability to perform missions on many types of terrain from mainland, border to sea areas, islands and under complex meteorological conditions.

A familiar name for Viettel's weapon lines is the S-125-VT complex researched, improved and designed by the group with the ability to destroy airborne attack vehicles.

This is one of Viettel's typical military equipment that will appear in the parade to celebrate the 80th anniversary of National Day. With complex weapons such as anti-aircraft missiles, Viettel has gradually mastered the technology and modernized the 'magic crossbow' to protect the sky of the Fatherland.

In addition to missiles and UAVs, Viettel also develops modern electronic warfare systems currently used in the Vietnam People's Army. A typical example is the V-Elint 18 electronic reconnaissance system.
