17 years of love in harmony with "Heart for you"

On the evening of November 23, the Gala celebrating the 17th anniversary of the program “Heart for Children” organized by Vietnam Television (VTV) in collaboration with Viettel Telecom took place in Hanoi. Over the past 17 years, Heart for Children has brought miracles to nearly 7,600 successful surgeries, organized screenings for nearly 190,000 children and mobilized more than 250 billion VND from the hearts of the community.

Recognition from State leaders for a 17-year journey full of compassion

The Heart for You Gala is an opportunity to summarize the journey of 2025, introducing the important innovations of the program to the national audience. From the first steps to today, the program has become a sustainable fund, with a wide influence, reaching thousands of families across the country.

On behalf of the Party and State leaders, Vice President of the National Assembly Nguyen Thi Thanh expressed her emotions when attending the Gala to celebrate the 17th anniversary of the program “Heart for Children”. From the pioneering spirit of VTV and the persistent social responsibility of Viettel, this journey has truly become a bridge connecting millions of hearts with thousands of less fortunate children.

The Vice Chairman of the National Assembly respectfully acknowledged and highly appreciated the role of VTV, Viettel - the enterprise that devoted all its enthusiasm and social responsibility to accompany the program from the very beginning and all the kind-hearted people at home and abroad who are silently continuing the program's journey.

A journey of humanity

Also at the program, Deputy General Director of Viettel Telecommunications Corporation , Colonel Bach Tien Tuan had an interaction on stage with MC Hanh Phuc and the entire audience watching the program.

Here, Viettel representative, Mr. Bach Tien Tuan highly appreciated the social impact of Heart for Children and affirmed Viettel's commitment in the journey of program innovation, reaching out and providing more support to families with children with heart disease. In 2026, Viettel Telecom will support the program with 5 billion VND, continuing its commitment to accompany Heart for Children in the 18th season.

With the theme “Heartbeat”, the Gala program consists of 3 parts: Magical sounds; a chorus of life aspirations; melodies of love; brilliant songs of joy. With the spread of music, the Gala brings the message - each healthy heartbeat is a new hope for the future. Behind the sparkling stage lights is the desire to continue joining hands so that no child is left behind, so that they can live, study and dream like their peers.

Interspersed between the performances were stories of children who were once weak at birth, but have now grown up to become students, engineers, and teachers. Some of them returned to the hospital where they were saved to care for other sick children. Many of them, when they grew up, quietly contributed to the fund – as a way to send a loving hand back to the place that revived them. Those moments made the whole audience fall silent and then burst into emotion.

The 17th Gala ended with a brilliant song of joy, where music, light and emotions honored the resilient hearts and open minds. And the journey “Heart for You” continues with the aspiration that no child will have to give up their future because of a weak heartbeat.

Entering its 18th year, Heart for You marks a new milestone, expanding its scope of support to many other diseases, raising the age of beneficiaries and increasing the level of assistance, with the aspiration to heal more heartbeats for Vietnamese children.

In the midst of that journey, Viettel Telecom continues to play the role of a sustainable support, accompanying in gradually modernizing the approach, applying technology to connect faster, more transparently between the fund - hospital - the family of the sick child. Viettel's social responsibility lies not only in contributions but also in the aspiration to create a comprehensive support ecosystem, bringing love to the right place - at the right time - to the right person in need.
