Movements and campaigns are implemented synchronously, creatively, and in accordance with the characteristics of each locality, contributing to changing the face of rural areas and improving people's lives.

The Fatherland Front at all levels has proactively coordinated with the government and organizations to promote propaganda work, helping people clearly understand their role as the main subject in building new rural areas (NTM). The movements "All people unite to build new rural areas, civilized urban areas", "Day for the poor"... have mobilized thousands of working days, hundreds of billions of VND and many areas of donated land to build roads, cultural houses, schools, and irrigation works.

In many remote communes, the Vietnam Fatherland Front and mass organizations have mobilized social resources to support poor and near-poor households to develop production, livestock and farming in a sustainable manner. Many pilot models of "Model residential areas" and "Self-managed roads that are bright - green - clean - beautiful" have been replicated, creating a widespread impact.

Standing Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province Tran Huu The and leaders of Ea Ning commune visited the booth displaying OCOP products of local farmers.

In recent times, the Provincial Women's Union has focused on promoting the role of the organization, propagating and mobilizing cadres, members and women to actively respond to the movement "The whole country joins hands to build new rural areas", contributing to the successful implementation of the goals set in the period of 2021 - 2025. At the same time, the campaign "Building a family of 5 no's, 3 clean's", "Family of 5 yes's, 3 clean's" launched by the Central Committee of the Vietnam Women's Union with the content of "3 clean's" including clean house, clean kitchen, clean alley is included in the criteria for building new rural areas, has been concretized by the provincial Women's Unions into component criteria on the rate of households with bathrooms, toilets, hygienic water storage equipment and ensuring 3 cleans. Up to now, the whole province has had over 7,000 households meeting the criteria of "5 no's, 3 cleans", more than 500 households meeting the criteria of "family of 5 yes's, 3 cleans".

During the 2021 - 2025 period, the provincial Youth Union chapters have also implemented focused and key activities, suitable to the practical needs of the locality, contributing significantly to the overall achievements of the National Target Program on New Rural Construction.

Major movements such as "Youth join hands to build new rural areas", "Volunteer Saturday", "Green Sunday", "Light up the countryside roads", "National flag road", "Youth volunteers for the community" have been widely deployed in all localities.

Every year, thousands of union members and young people participate in repairing and concreting rural roads, dredging canals, building and renovating playgrounds for children, and planting trees to protect the environment. In 2024 alone, the whole province has built more than 200 km of "Lighting up the Countryside" power lines; repaired 12 km of rural roads; and built nearly 400 "National Flag Roads" routes.

In addition, specialized youth volunteer teams have supported the transfer of science and technology to farmers, provided guidance on clean agricultural production; and organized many activities to examine and treat diseases, and provide free medicine to people in remote areas. Thanks to that, many rural areas in Dak Lak have taken on a new look, with clean and beautiful village roads and alleys; improved community cultural life; and significantly reduced the rate of poor households.

Mr. Y Le Pas Tor, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Youth Union, said: “We identify building a new rural area as a long-term task that requires the participation of the entire political system, in which the youth are the vanguard and creative force. The activities of the Youth Union not only focus on infrastructure, but also on improving the cultural and spiritual life of the people, towards the goal of sustainable development.”

Continuing to affirm the role of a bridge between the Party, the government and the people, contributing to the comprehensive and sustainable construction of new rural areas, aiming at the goal of improving the quality of material and spiritual life for people in rural areas, the Vietnam Fatherland Front and socio-political organizations in the province have focused on innovating the content and methods of operation, linking emulation movements with political tasks.

In localities across the province, the Fatherland Front at all levels plays a supervisory and critical role in the entire process of building new rural areas, from planning, investment, contractor selection to project acceptance. Thanks to that, infrastructure projects ensure quality and promote efficiency. Forums on "People's opinions on building new rural areas" are held regularly, creating opportunities for people to express their opinions and discuss solutions.

Associations and unions such as the Farmers' Association, Women's Association, Youth Union, Veterans' Association... promote their own strengths to support members and union members to increase their income and improve their lives. Mr. Y Ro Ya Nie, Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Krong Nang commune affirmed: "Social supervision and criticism work is carried out regularly, promptly providing comments to the government in the process of implementing new rural criteria, especially in environmental protection, preserving national cultural identity and ensuring social security. Many good models and effective methods have become bright spots, helping many communes meet and upgrade new rural standards".

Although the results are encouraging, Dak Lak is still facing some difficulties in building new rural areas due to limited resources, environmental and income criteria requiring a long time to complete, especially in ethnic minority areas. Some advanced new rural criteria are not suitable for the characteristics of each locality.

In that situation, the Vietnam Fatherland Front and organizations have proposed a number of practical solutions to mobilize the strength of national solidarity in implementing the new rural construction program in localities. In particular, continuing to innovate propaganda methods, combining direct and online; strengthening coordination, clearly assigning tasks among organizations to avoid overlap; promoting livelihood models, linking production, developing OCOP products, increasing people's income; prioritizing resources for remote areas, remote areas, and ethnic minority areas.
