According to Deputy Director of the Department of Agriculture and Environment Dang Minh Duc, Deputy Head of the Steering Committee for implementing the plan of the Ministry of Public Security and the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment on the Campaign to enrich and clean up the National Database, on October 1, the Provincial People's Committee issued Plan No. 113/KH-UBND on implementing the 90-day Campaign to build and complete the Land Database of Dong Nai province. On the same day, the Provincial People's Committee issued Decision No. 1461/QD-UBND to establish the Steering Committee and Decision No. 1462/QD-UBND to establish a Working Group to assist the Steering Committee.
Over the years, the province has always paid attention, directed and allocated a large budget to build a land database. Thanks to that, the province's land data is now relatively good, with 2.5/3 million user information completely matching the National Population Database. Dong Nai is the first locality in the country to complete the establishment of identification codes for each land plot.
Director of the Land Registration Office of Dong Nai Province Le Thanh Tuan added: Out of 12 contents of the campaign, 7 have been completed. These include tasks with large workloads such as: reviewing and classifying land data into 3 groups; checking and verifying land user information between the land database and population data; gradually synchronizing land data of 95 communes and wards to the National Database; completing the establishment of identification codes for each land plot.
The Steering Committee recommends that the Provincial People's Committee and the Head of the Steering Committee continue to resolutely direct the unfinished contents. In particular, the focus is on requesting the People's Committees of communes and wards to organize the collection of additional documents such as land use right certificates, house ownership rights, and identification cards of land users that have not been updated in the land database. The Provincial Land Registration Office is assigned to preside over the implementation of updating, completing, and synchronizing land data with the National Database.
In addition, the Department of Science and Technology is requested to take the lead in connecting the land information system with the electronic one-stop system to receive and handle administrative procedures, and at the same time review and propose solutions to ensure security, safety, and confidentiality of information and data.

Speaking at the meeting, Vice Chairwoman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Thi Hoang said: The campaign to enrich and clean up the land database aims to create a foundation and build a modern, synchronous and unified state management tool; helping all levels and sectors have full, fast and accurate information to promptly make decisions, direct and operate transparently and effectively. Improve the quality of public service provision, strongly reform administrative procedures in the land sector for people and businesses in the electronic environment. Connect, share and synchronize the land database with the National Population Database and other fields, in order to operate smoothly, exploit and use digital resources effectively, gradually eliminate paper records in handling administrative procedures.
According to Vice Chairwoman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Thi Hoang, there are currently 5 groups of unfinished contents that have been specified into tasks by the Department of Agriculture and Environment. In addition to directing the handling of recommendations, the leaders of the Provincial People's Committee requested the Department of Agriculture and Environment to advise the Provincial People's Committee on a document recommending the Department of Land Management, Ministry of Agriculture and Environment to remove some obstacles beyond their authority. The Department of Science and Technology implements the connection of land information with the electronic one-stop system, tax software, and national population database.
