The leader of Dong Nai General Hospital said: Currently, the hospital has performed most of the common ENT treatment techniques, such as: sinus surgery, vocal cord suspension, mastoid surgery...
However, serious and complicated cases such as tumors in the hypopharynx - larynx, tonsil cancer, chronic ear diseases, etc. still have to be transferred. In 2024, the hospital transferred 42 cases of tumors in the hypopharynx - larynx and 15 cases of chronic middle ear disease due to exceeding its professional capacity.
In the near future, the hospital's ENT department will develop specialized techniques such as: ossicular reconstruction, cholesteatoma treatment, laryngeal tumor surgery and head and neck tumor surgery. However, to do this, a team of highly trained doctors and modern equipment is needed.
