Previously, on December 1, the General Statistics Office ( Ministry of Finance ) issued a document announcing preliminary GRDP data for the third quarter, 9 months and estimated fourth quarter, the whole year of 2025 of Dong Nai province. Accordingly, GRDP growth in Dong Nai province is estimated to increase by 10.73% in the fourth quarter, the highest in the Southeast region and ranked 4th out of 34 provinces and cities, and for the whole year of 2025 is 9.63%, the highest in the Southeast region, ranked 7th out of 34 provinces and cities nationwide.

The above increase has demonstrated the great efforts of the entire political system, business community and people in the province. Currently, Dong Nai is striving to achieve the budget revenue target of 100 trillion VND.

According to the Provincial People's Committee, the scale of Dong Nai province's GRDP by 2025 is estimated to reach 690 trillion VND, GRDP per capita is estimated to reach 152.88 million VND.
In 2025, Dong Nai will continue to promote economic restructuring associated with growth model innovation, improving productivity, quality, efficiency and competitiveness. The province has synchronously implemented solutions to stimulate consumption, promote exports; and accelerate the disbursement of public investment capital.
The investment environment continues to improve, contributing to attracting new industrial projects and consolidating the province's growth foundation. The Industrial Production Index (IIP) in 2025 is estimated to increase by 15.02% over the same period last year, reflecting the leading role of the industrial sector, in which the processing and manufacturing industry alone increased by 15.32% - an impressive increase, the highest among the industrial sectors.
The industrial sector continues to affirm its position as a pillar of economic growth in Dong Nai province, in line with the orientation of industrialization and modernization, accounting for about 50% of the province's GRDP. The manufacturing and processing industry contributes largely to the overall growth rate; the growth momentum of the manufacturing and processing industry comes from a stable macro environment and the recovery of orders in many industries. Many enterprises have signed new orders, expanding their markets, thereby accelerating production during the year.

From the beginning of 2025 to November 21, 2025, domestic investment capital attraction inside and outside industrial parks in the province is about 162.3 trillion VND. Accumulated to November 21, 2025, the number of valid projects is 2,485 projects with registered capital of about 593.2 trillion VND. Meanwhile, investment attraction from foreign sectors reached 2,956 million USD, accumulated to date, the number of valid FDI projects is 2,230 with capital of 42.88 billion USD.
Service activities have made significant progress, expanding in scale and diversifying in form, especially transportation, telecommunications - information technology, finance, banking, tourism services, contributing significantly to the implementation of the goal of economic restructuring in the area. The contribution value of the service industry to the total growth value structure of the whole province over the years has increased compared to the previous year.

Typically, on November 17, the Provincial People's Committee granted the investment registration certificate for the AeonMall Bien Hoa Commercial Center project to the investor, AeonMall Vietnam Co., Ltd. (a Japanese enterprise). The project has a total investment of more than 6 trillion VND (equivalent to 261 million USD). This is not only an impressive figure, but also has strategic significance in promoting the province's economic restructuring. The project is a testament to Dong Nai province's determination to strongly develop the trade and service sector, commensurate with its position as the southern economic gateway province.
Besides, the situation of agricultural, forestry and fishery production in 2025 in the province is basically favorable, maintaining stable growth with an estimated increase of about 4.1% over the same period.
In 2025, import-export activities will grow rapidly, becoming a bright spot in the local economy. The province currently has a good trade surplus, with export turnover estimated at 34.04 billion USD, up 19.35% over the same period, mainly from processed industrial products, electronics and agricultural products; import turnover is estimated at 25.58 billion USD, up 26.33%, ensuring raw materials for production.
In addition, the province has successfully auctioned many land plots; many key traffic routes have been completed on schedule. Traffic infrastructure projects have been and are being invested in and built to become a "lever" for Dong Nai to develop in the new era - the era of national development.

Not only possessing a central location in the Southeast region and the Southern key economic zone, Dong Nai is also one of the important traffic hubs of the whole country. Therefore, in recent times, a series of important traffic infrastructure projects of the whole country have been implemented in the province. Along with that, a series of other traffic infrastructure projects have also been officially "started" such as the expressways: Dau Giay - Tan Phu; Gia Nghia - Chon Thanh; Ho Chi Minh City - Thu Dau Mot - Chon Thanh...
Recently, the province has also focused on implementing large-scale social housing projects, marking an important step forward in developing infrastructure and improving the quality of life for people in the province. Recently, on September 27, the province simultaneously held groundbreaking ceremonies for social housing projects including: ChC1 and ChC2 social housing areas, Phuoc Tan ward; social housing in Tam Hiep ward; social housing apartment complex on a 2.1ha land plot, Phuoc An commune...
And this December, the province plans to inaugurate, start construction, and open technical traffic to large-scale, meaningful projects and works in the area to welcome the 14th National Congress of the Party with a total investment of tens of thousands of billions of VND. Specifically, it is expected to start construction on 3 industrial parks: Long Duc 3, Bau Can - Tan Hiep, Xuan Que - Song Nhan, which are important in attracting investment, developing industry and creating new growth momentum for the province.
In particular, Long Thanh International Airport is expected to welcome a technical flight on December 19 and put into commercial operation in 2026, creating a great driving force for Dong Nai's economy to develop more strongly in the 2026-2030 period.

Along with that, administrative reform is a bright spot of Dong Nai province. Since July 1, 2025, when the two former provinces of Dong Nai and Binh Phuoc were merged into Dong Nai province (new), the satisfaction index of people and businesses of the province has always been at the top of the country.
Dong Nai province is holding a “golden opportunity” for breakthrough growth, towards the goal of green, prosperous, civilized, modern development, with people increasingly prosperous and happy. The province is determined to strive to basically meet the criteria of a centrally-run city by 2030. This achievement will be the foundation for maintaining sustainable growth in the future, making an important contribution to the overall development of the country.
