Could you tell us about the typical activities and highlights of this year's festival?
Techfest Dong Nai 2025 is organized with many typical activities to promote innovation development in Dong Nai province. The event includes an exhibition of scientific and technological achievements with about 200 booths, displaying technology, innovative products of enterprises, research institutes, start-ups and incubators, and introducing local OCOP products (One Commune One Product Program) related to agricultural and rural economic development.

In addition, a series of conferences and seminars were organized to implement Resolution No. 57-NQ/TW of the Politburo on the development of science, technology, innovation and digital transformation for sustainable development. The seminars focused on the connection between the state, schools, businesses and investors, promoting cooperation and sharing of resources. The conference connected technology supply and demand to promote the commercialization of research results and technology products. The conference called for investment capital to create opportunities for start-ups and innovative projects to meet investors and financial funds. The conference on product traceability and ESG practices (environment, society, governance) towards sustainable development. Interactive activities such as workshops, makerspaces, testing of robots, AI, IoT and smart devices were designed for participants to experience in real life.

The theme "Creative Runway - Dong Nai Takes Off" emphasized the connection between innovation and digital transformation, focusing on connecting technology supply and demand, investment, technology commercialization and supporting start-ups to raise capital. The festival is organized with the main goal of celebrating the success of the 1st Congress of the Dong Nai Provincial Party Committee (term 2025-2030), and is also part of a series of activities responding to the National Innovation Day (October 1) and the National Digital Transformation Day (October 10). In addition, the organization of the festival also aims to connect the state, schools, businesses, and people to deploy tasks to implement targets and breakthrough solutions for science and technology development, innovation and digital transformation according to the resolutions, plans, and action programs of the Provincial Party Committee and the People's Committee of Dong Nai province.

The orientation of the festival is to promote the application of science, technology and digital transformation in all areas of economic and social life, improve the effectiveness of state management, labor productivity, quality of public services, contributing to sustainable economic and social development. At the same time, strengthen the leadership and direction of authorities at all levels, promote the role of leaders in implementing contents related to science, technology, innovation and digital transformation; as well as create consensus and active participation of the business community, people and social organizations in the implementation process.
Techfest Dong Nai 2025 will contribute to concretizing the goals, tasks and solutions stated in Action Plan No. 469-KH/TU dated May 16, 2025 of the Provincial Party Standing Committee to implement Resolution No. 57-NQ/TW of the Politburo on "breakthrough in science and technology development, innovation and national digital transformation" in the province. Promote the application of science, technology and digital transformation in all areas of socio-economic life, improve the effectiveness of state management, labor productivity, quality of public services, contributing to sustainable socio-economic development.
The festival also contributes to strengthening the leadership and direction of authorities at all levels, promoting the role of leaders in implementing contents related to science, technology, innovation and digital transformation; at the same time, creating consensus and active participation of the business community, people and social organizations in the implementation process.

The festival will create conditions to promote the spread of innovation. From the Techfest event, Dong Nai can form incubation programs, accelerate startups, and put scientific and technological products into practice. In particular, this is also an event to affirm Dong Nai's position and promote the development of the local digital economy. The work of inviting businesses, institutes, and start-ups inside and outside the province to register to participate has been widely deployed and received positive feedback.
