Health sector officials and employees donated nearly 150 million VND to support people affected by storms and floods.

Phu Yen General Hospital has just organized a fundraising program for the people in the flood-affected areas among all the hospital's staff, doctors, and medical staff. After one day of calling, the amount of money raised was 80 million VND.

Previously, many medical units in the province also responded to the Department of Health's program to support people to overcome the damage caused by storm No. 10 with a donation of nearly 65 million VND.

Specifically, Phu Yen Traditional Medicine Hospital donated 15.1 million VND, Son Hoa Medical Center donated 15.8 million VND, Drug, Cosmetic and Food Testing Center 2 donated 2.9 million VND, Dak Lak Provincial Center for Disease Control donated nearly 24 million VND. Individuals outside the industry joined with medical units to donate 7.2 million VND.

Up to now, the total amount of donations is nearly 150 million VND. This amount will be sent to the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province to share the difficulties with the people affected by storm No. 10.
