Information at the conference showed that from July 1 to September 30, 2025, the Central Citizen Reception Committee received 1,112 visits with 2,430 citizens presenting 1,046 cases; including 83 large groups.
The Board also received 4,098 petitions, classified and processed 3,683 petitions, of which 826 petitions were guided and transferred to competent authorities for consideration and settlement or proposed to be transferred to the departments and offices of the Government Inspectorate for inspection and review.
There are 2,857 previous petitions that have been guided or forwarded to competent authorities for consideration and resolution, but citizens continue to submit petitions even though there is no new content or evidence.

According to Vice Chairman of the People's Aspirations and Supervision Committee Lo Viet Phuong, the draft plan for coordination in receiving citizens to serve the 10th Session and the election has been developed, ensuring citizens' right to complain and denounce, and promptly and competently handling complaints, denunciations, petitions, and reflections...

The Committee for People's Aspirations and Supervision requests the Government Inspectorate to focus on inspecting, reviewing, synthesizing, classifying, handling, and reporting to the Government for consideration and final settlement of complicated and mass complaints and denunciations, not allowing "hot spots" to arise.
Chairmen of People's Committees and People's Councils of provinces and centrally-run cities direct departments, branches and units to organize well the work of receiving citizens and having timely dialogues to resolve cases, especially crowded, complicated and prolonged cases, to prevent the emergence of "hot spots".

Concluding the conference, Chairman of the People's Aspirations and Supervision Committee Duong Thanh Binh affirmed: The tenth session and the upcoming election are important political events. Agencies need to continue to coordinate closely, proactively grasp the situation, ensure security, order and legitimate rights of citizens.
