Also attending the Conference were: representatives of leaders of agencies and staff units of the Central Propaganda and Education Commission, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, the Vietnam Journalists Association, the National Assembly Office; representatives of leaders of central and Hanoi press agencies.
At the Conference, in addition to the regular meeting content, delegates listened to Deputy Head of the National Assembly Office Nguyen Van Hien inform about the content of the Program of the 10th Session of the 15th National Assembly and issues that need to be focused on in information and propaganda work.

Accordingly, the 10th Session of the 15th National Assembly held a preparatory session, opening on the morning of October 20, 2025 and expected to close on December 12, 2025. The working time of the Session is 42 days (of which only one Saturday of the first week (October 25, 2025) is arranged to work; the remaining Saturdays and Sundays are for agencies to receive and revise draft laws and resolutions; the National Assembly Standing Committee organizes meetings to review, comment, and decide on contents within its competence).
The 10th session of the 15th National Assembly was held in the form of a centralized meeting at the National Assembly House. The National Assembly did not arrange a break in the middle of the session and determined to work on the day off to complete the program early.

At this session, the National Assembly will consider and decide on 66 contents and groups of contents (50 laws, 3 resolutions on legislative work; 13 groups of contents on socio-economics, state budget, supervision and decide on other important issues).

Deputy Head of the National Assembly Office Nguyen Van Hien suggested that press agencies need to closely follow and effectively implement the Project on organizing information and press propaganda work on the Session; increase broadcasting time and reporting on the Session in news bulletins, columns and topics. Continue to innovate the content and form of information and propaganda; focus on propaganda on the internet; increase in-depth analytical articles on the National Assembly's innovations in legislative work, supreme supervision and decision-making on important issues of the country; reflect the legitimate thoughts and aspirations of voters and people sent to the National Assembly forum.

Pointing out the contents that need to be focused on informing and propagating, the Deputy Head of the National Assembly Office suggested that it is necessary to propagate boldly and solemnly about the opening session, especially the message of the opening speech of the National Assembly Chairman. Propagating the purpose and significance of the Session, emphasizing that this is the Session with the largest volume of work content ever; reviewing and deciding on the most legislative content compared to all sessions since the beginning of the term; summarizing the term of the 15th National Assembly.

In the propaganda on legislative work, at this Session, the National Assembly will consider and pass 50 laws and 3 resolutions, including a number of laws considered and passed according to shortened processes and procedures.
Therefore, it is recommended that press agencies focus on disseminating new points and issues with many different opinions that have been considered and commented on by the National Assembly at the Ninth Session and meetings of the National Assembly Standing Committee and the Conference of specialized National Assembly deputies; the necessity of promulgating the law, and the main contents of the draft Law.
Fully and accurately disseminate the opinions of National Assembly deputies at the discussion sessions of the Groups and the Hall; closely follow the content of the Government's Report and the Verification Report of the National Assembly agencies to ensure timely and accurate dissemination to voters and the People about the Party's policies and guidelines, meeting the practical requirements of national development; at the same time, there are many articles evaluating the impacts and influences of policies on people and businesses when laws and resolutions are passed by the National Assembly.

In addition, propaganda on the consideration and decision on socio-economic issues, state budget, supervision and other important issues, ensuring accurate, complete and objective reflection of the National Assembly deputies' discussion opinions on these contents, in particular, it is necessary to focus on propaganda on the results of implementing the 2025 socio-economic development plan.

In addition, regarding personnel work, press agencies are requested to accurately, promptly and fully propagate the results of personnel work under their authority (after the National Assembly has passed the Resolution). Propagate widely and deeply the results of the Session; the closing speech message of the Session by the National Assembly Chairman to a large number of voters, people nationwide, the overseas Vietnamese community and international friends; propagate the activities of contacting voters of National Assembly deputies after the Session...
At the Conference, Deputy Head of the National Assembly Office Nguyen Van Hien hoped that press agencies would continue to accompany, closely coordinate, encourage, motivate and create conditions for reporters, especially reporters covering the National Assembly, to promptly submit their works to participate in the Dien Hong Award (the deadline for receiving works is November 12, 2025).
