An Dan toll station is exempting tolls for vehicles transporting relief goods to people affected by floods and storms. |
This decision aims to support vehicles transporting relief goods to areas affected by storms and floods, helping the process of supplying goods more quickly and smoothly. Accordingly, all vehicles transporting relief goods through the Deo Ca tunnel toll stations, An Dan toll station, and Cu Mong tunnel toll station on National Highway 1 through Dak Lak province are exempt from tolls.
In recent days, hundreds of vehicles carrying relief goods have passed through the stations every day. Relief vehicles have been recorded, their records and toll data have been fully archived for reporting and inspection according to regulations. Toll stations managed by Deo Ca Group will facilitate the relief vehicles to quickly pass through the stations, prioritizing lane division, traffic flow and traffic guidance to avoid congestion and ensure safety. This support demonstrates the spirit of "mutual love and support" between transport infrastructure management enterprises and the community, especially at a time when many northern provinces are heavily affected by natural disasters.
Previously, the Vietnam Road Administration sent a document requesting BOT project owners, highway management enterprises and toll stations to temporarily stop collecting tolls and exempt road service fees for vehicles transporting relief goods, until new instructions are available.
